Once upon a time,

 

“ကောသမ္ဗီ” ပြည်၌ အလွန်ကြွယ်ဝချမ်းသာသော “ဃောသက” သူဌေးကြီးတစ်ဦးရှိ၏။

in the country of Kauthambi, there was a very rich man named Gauthaka.

သူဌေးကြီးသည် အလွန်စိတ်သဘောထား ကောင်းမွန်သူဖြစ်၍ မိမိပိုင်ဆိုင်သော စည်းစိမ်ဥစ္စာများစွာထဲမှ

နေ့စဉ်နေ့တိုင်း အသပြာတစ်ထောင် အကုန်ကျခံကာ

The rich man was a man of good-temper and he used to give charity at the cost of one thousand

currencies everyday.

မရှိဆင်းရဲသားများအတွက် ထမင်းပေးလှူလေသည်။

He gave rice to poor folks.

We have been torn by journey and our dresses are dirty.

ကျုပ်ဟာ ဘဒ္ဒဝတီသူဌေးပါလို့ ပြောရင်လည်း ဃောသကသူဌေးကြီးက ယုံမှာမဟုတ်ဘူးရှင့်

When we tell that we are the friend of the rich man Gauthaka,no one will believe us,

ဒါကြောင့် မြို့ပြင်မှာတစ်ရက်နှစ်ရက် နားပြီးမှ မြို့ထဲကိုဝင်ပြီး “ဃောသက သူဌေးကြီးနဲ့တွေ့ဆုံသင့်တယ်။

The brahmin was the head of family, but his wife was superior in astrology.

ငါ တစ်ခါမှမကြားဖူးတဲ့စကားတွေကို ဒီနေ့မှာကြားလိုက်ရပြီ

Today, I hear the words that I've never known before.

 

ဟောဒီ ခြေရာက ပူပူနွေးနွေးလေးပဲ ရှိသေးတာ၊ အဝေးကြီးကို ရောက်မှာမဟုတ်သေးဘူး၊

ဒီအနီးအနား ရှိရမယ်။

This footprint is fresh. So he won't be far away.

လာ ငါတို့ခြေရာရှင်နောက်ကို လိုက်ကြမယ်

Come on. Let's follow the owner of footprint,

 

ပုဏ္ဏားကြီးနှင့် ပုဏ္ဏေးမကြီးတို့လည်း ခြေရာရှင်နောက်သို့ အမြန်လိုက်ကြ၏။

The brahmin and his wife followed the owner of the footprint.

မြန်မြန်လာပါဟ

Come quickly.

တော်ကြာ မမီလိုက်ဘဲဖြစ်နေပါဦးမယ်

Lest we should not catch him.

 

ထိုအချိန်က “ကောသမ္ဗိ”ပြည်သည် ဗြဟ္မဏ'အယူဝါဒ ထွန်းကားသောအချိန်ဖြစ်၏။

At that time in the country of Kauthambi, the brahminism was flourished.

สมัยนั้น ที่แคว้นโคทัมบี ศาสนาพราหมณ์เจริญรุ่งเรือง

မြတ်ဗုဒ္ဓသာသနာသည် ထင်ထင်ရှားရှားမဖြစ်ပေါ်သေးပေ။

The doctrine of Buddhism was not flourished enough.

“ဗြဟ္မဏ'တို့၏ ပရိဗိုဇ် ရဟန်းများနှင့် မြတ်ဗုဒ္ဓ၏ရဟန်းများကို အတူတူချည်းဟုသာ မှတ်ယူထား

ကြသော အချိန်ကာလလည်း ဖြစ်လေသည်။

Itinerants of brahminism and the Buddhistic monks were recognized as the same.

ငါက ပရိဗိုဇ်ကွ

I'mitinerant.

အနိစ္စ ဒုက္ခ အနတ္တ

Imperiunence, suffering...

မဟာကရုဏာတော်ရှင် ဗုဒ္ဓမြတ်စွာဘုရားသည် သတ္တဝါတို့ကို ကယ်ချွတ်ရာ၌ ငါးကြင်းသားကို

ငါးကြင်းဆီဖြင့် ကြော်ဘိသကဲ့သို့ ထိုသတ္တဝါတို့၏ စရိုက်သဘာဝကိုလိုက်၍

ကယ်ချွတ်တော်မူ၏။

With an unfathomable kindness to the creatures. Lord Buddha disillusioned the people

and led the way to nirvana. As if the carp is fried by its oil, he liberate the people in accordance

with their character.

ด้วยความเมตตากรุณาอย่างหาที่สุดมิได้ต่อสิ่งมีชีวิต พระพุทธองค์ทรงทำให้ประชาชนหมดกำลังใจ

และทรงนำไปสู่พระนิพพาน ประหนึ่งว่าปลาคาร์พถูกทอดด้วยน้ำมัน เขาก็ปลดปล่อยราษฎรตาม

ด้วยลักษณะนิสัยของพวกเขา

နံနက် အရုဏ်တက် ဉာဏ်စခန်းအထူးကြည်လင်သောအချိန်တွင် သဗ္ဗညုတရွှေဥာဏ်တော်ဖြင့်

လောကကိုကြည့်ရှုလိုက်သောအခါ ကယ်ချွတ်ထိုက်သူနှစ်ဦးကို တွေ့မြင်သွား၏။

At dawn, when Lord Buddha looked to whom he should liberate from mundane

world with his unlimited power of vision. He saw two persons.

ထိုနှစ်ဦးကား မှားယွင်းသော ဗြဟ္မဏ အယူဝါဒများကို စွဲကိုင်ထားသည့် ပုဏ္ဏားကြီးနှင့်

ပုဏ္ဏေးမကြီးတို့ ဖြစ်၏။

They were the brahim and his wife

လက္ခဏာပညာရှင်များ ဖြစ်ကြသော ပုဏ္ဏားကြီးလင်မယားအတွက် ဘုရားရှင်က ခြေခဏာကိုပြ၍

လမ်းကြောင်းပေးခဲ့၏။

So Lord Buddha left the footprint for the astrologers brahmin and his wife to come

to hire

 

မြန်မြန်လာဟ

Come quickly

 

ကြာကြာ မရှာလိုက်ရပါ၊ သစ်ပင်အောက်တွင် ထိုင်နေသော ဘုရားရှင်ကို ပုဏ္ဏားကြီး တွေ့မြင်သွားလေသည်။

Soon they found Lord Buddha sitting under a tree.

 

ဟင် ..Hm!

 

ပုဏ္ဏားကြီး၏ခြေလှမ်းများ ရုတ်တရက် ရပ်တန့်သွား၏။

The brahmin's steps were halted.

အို

Oh!

အလွန်တရာ ထူးခြားအံ့ဩဖွယ်ကောင်းတဲ့ ပုဂ္ဂိုလ်ပါလား

A very honourable person!

သူ့ကိုမြင်လိုက်တယ်ဆိုရင်ပဲ ငါ့ရင်တစ်ခုလုံး ဘယ်လိုဖြစ်သွားရတာပါလိမ့်၊ ကြည်ညိုစရာကောင်း

လိုက်ပုံများ ပြောမနေပါနဲ့တော့

As soon as I see him, I wonder how I feel ecstasy. How adorable he is!

သားအရွယ်ဆိုပေမယ့် သူ့ရဲ့ ဣန္ဒြေက ငါတို့လူကြီးတွေထက်တောင်တည်ငြိမ်သေးတယ်။

Though he is at the age of my son, but his solemn manner is more modest than the old man.

သူ ဘယ်သူပါလိမ့်၊ ဘယ်အရပ်ဒေသကများ လာတာပါလိမ့်၊ သိ

ချင်လိုက်တာ၊

Who is he? From where does he comes? I want to know eagerly.

အင်း သူ့ရဲ့ခြေခဏာဟာ ငါတို့တွေ့ ခဲ့ရတဲ့ ခြေရာနဲ့ တစ်ပုံစံတည်းပဲ၊ ခြေရာရှင်အစစ်ဟာ သူပဲ။

His pattern of sole is exactly like the footprint we have found. He is the true owner

of the footprint.

ပုဏ္ဏားကြီးသည် ဘုရားရှင်နှင့်ထိပ်တိုက်တွေ့ ဆုံနေပါသော်လည်း ဘုရားကို ဘုရားမှန်းလည်း မသိပေ။

Though the brahmin met with Lord Buddha face-to-face, he did not know he was Lord Buddha.

သာမန် ရဟန်းတစ်ပါးမျှသာ ထင်နေ၏။ သို့သော် ဘုရားကိုကြည်ညိုသောစိတ်များက သူ့ရင်ထဲတွင်

အပြည့်ကိန်းဝပ်နေလေသည်။

He thought that he was an ordinary monk. But in his mind he adored Lord Buddha

heartily.

 

ဣန္ဒြေရလိုက်တာ

How solemn he is!

ဟဲ့ ရှင်မ အိမ်ပြန်ပြီး သမီးလေးကို သွားခေါ်ချေ မြန်မြန်ပြန်လာခဲ့နော်

Wife! Go home and bring our daughter quickly.

မကြာစေနဲ့ အချိန်သိပ်မရဘူး

Come quick. Don't be late.

ထို့နေရာနှင့်ရွာသည် သိပ်မဝေးကွာသောကြောင့် “မာဂဏ္ဍီ'ကို အချိန်တိုအတွင်းမှာပင် ခေါ်ဆောင်လာ

နိုင်ခဲ့၏။

As this place did not far away from that village, Marghandi was brought within a short time.

ဟောဒီမှာ ရှင့်သမီး ရောက်လာပြီ

Now your daughter has been here.

လာ လာ

Come.

အလို

Alas!

မာဂဏ္ဍီလည်း ဘုရားကိုပြင်ကာမျှဖြင့်ပင် အလွန်ထူးခြားဆန်းပြား၍ တည်ငြိမ်ရင့်ကျက်သော

ယောက်ျားပါလားဟု ကောက်ချက်ချမိ၏။

As soon as Marghandi saw Lord Buddha, she remarked that he was a wonderfully

modest and solemn figure of manhood.

အင်း ဘုန်းလက္ခဏာနဲ့ ပြည့်စုံတဲ့ ယောက်ျားမြတ်တစ်ယောက်ပါလား

Em! He is the man of great power and noblest of all.

အို ရှင်ရဟန်း သင့်ရှေ့မှာ ရောက်ရှိနေတဲ့ မိန်းမပျိုလေးက ကျွန်ုပ်ရဲ့ သမီး “မာဂဏ္ဍီ” ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Oh! Your Highness. The girl in front of you is my own daughter Marghandi.

သမီးရဲ့အလှကို သင်ကိုယ်တိုင်မြင်တွေ့ နေရတာမို့ ဘာမှထွေထွေထူးထူး လင်္ကာဖွဲ့စရာ မလိုတော့ပါဘူး၊

As you personally see the beauty of my daughter. I don't have to describe her beauty more.

อย่างที่คุณเห็นความงามของลูกสาวเป็นการส่วนตัว ฉันไม่ต้องบรรยายความงามของเธออีกต่อไป

သမီးလေးဟာ မလွဲဧကန် မိဖုရားဖြစ်မယ့် ဇာတာရှင်ပါ

She will be definitely become a queen.

သင်ရဟန်းဟာလည်း လူထွက်ပြီးကြိုးစားမယ်ဆိုရင် စကြာဝတေးမင်း

အဖြစ်ကို အလွယ်လေးနဲ့ ရနိုင်ပါတယ်

If you leave from religious order and try hard, you'll become a

master of universe easily.

ဒါကြောင့် ကျွန်ုပ် အကြံပေချင်တာကတော့ အသင်ရဟန်း လူထွက်ပြီး သမီးလေး

 'မာဂဏ္ဍီ'ကို သိမ်းပိုက်လိုက်ပါ။

So I want to advise you that you should become a lay-man and

marry my daughter.

ပြီးတော့ စကြာဝတေးမင်းအဖြစ်နဲ့ တစ်လောကလုံးကို အုပ်ချုပ်တော်မူပါတော့

Then rule the world as the master of universe.

ထိုစကားသည် သမီးတစ်ယောက်၏ ဖခင်အနေဖြင့်စတင်မပြောသင့်သော စကားဖြစ်လေသည်။

That word should not be spoken by father of the daughter.

သို့သော် သမီး၏အနာဂတ် ကောင်းစားရေးအတွက် အရဲစွန့်ပြီး ပြောလိုက်ခြင်းဖြစ်၏။

But desperately for the future of his daughter, he spoke like that.

“မာဂဏ္ဍီ”လည်း မိန်းမတို့ဟန် အပျိုတို့ဟန်ဖြင့် ဘုရားရှင်၏ရှေ့မှောက်၌ ခပ်စောင်းစောင်းရပ်၍

ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာမည့် အခြေအနေကို အကဲခတ်နေ၏။

Marghandi, with the gesture of womanly proud, waiting for the situation and answer

with profile stance.

“ဒါယကာကြီး ဒါယိကာမကြီးတို့က

Oh! Lay-devotees.

ဘုရားထံမှ အာလုပ်စကားကို ကြားသည်နှင့် တစ်ပြိုင်နက် ပုဏ္ဏားကြီး

နှင့် ပုဏ္ဏေးမကြီးတို့ အလိုလို ဦးညွှတ်၍သွားလေသည်။

When the voice of Lord Buddha appeared, the couple

knelt down and listened.

အလို ရုပ်လက္ခဏာသာ မဟုတ်အသံတော်ကလည်း ကြည်ညိုစရာ

ကောင်းလိုက်တာ

Alas! Not only his solemn visage,but his voice also is adorable.

ငါဘုရားသည် “သိဒ္ဓတ္ထ' မင်းသားဖြစ်စဉ်အခါတုန်းက ‘မာဂဏ္ဍီ’ကဲ့သို့လှပသော

မောင်းမမိဿံတစ်သောင်းခြောက်ထောင်ကို စွန့်လွှတ်ခဲ့ဖူးပြီ။

When I was a prince Sidhatta, I've sixteen thousand of young female

courtiers who were as beauty as Marghandi and I abandoned them.

เมื่อข้าพเจ้าเป็นเจ้าชายสิทธัตถะ ข้าพเจ้ามีหญิงสาวหนึ่งหมื่นหกพันคน

ข้าราชบริพารผู้งดงามราวกับ Marghandi และฉันทอดทิ้งพวกเขา

ထီးနန်းစည်းစိမ်ကိုလည်း စွန့်လွှတ်ခဲ့ဖူးပြီ

I renounced the royal luxuries.

In reality they are internally rotten women.

သူ့သမီးသုံးယောက် ဆက်သသည်ကိုလည်း စွန့်ပယ်ခဲ့ဖူးပြီ

When I gained the Buddhahood after obtaining the bodi tree and golden throne,

I did not accept the three daughters of Mara who reigned the abode of nat spirit.

လူတို့ထက် အဆရာထောင်မက သာလွန်လှပသော နတ်သမီးကို စွန့်ပယ်ခဲ့သည်ဆိုလျှင် ငါဘုရားသည်

သင့်သမီးအား အဘယ်အလိုရှိတော့အံ့နည်း။

As I've discarded thousands of angels, how do I need your daughter?

သင့်သမီးသည် အရေပြားတစ်ထောက်မျှသာ လှ၏။

The beauty of your daughter is only a skin deep.

ထိုအရေပြား၏အောက်တွင် ကျင်ကြီး ကျင်ငယ် သလိပ် နှပ် သွေး အပုပ်

အသိုးတို့ဖြင့် ပြည့်နှက်နေ၏။

Under this skin-deep there containdirty matters such as urine, saliva and mucus.

ဒါယကာ ဒါယိကာမကြီးတို့ လူ့စည်းစိမ် နတ်စည်းစိမ်များကို ငါဘုရားသည်

အဘယ်ကြောင့် စွန့်ပယ်ခဲ့သနည်း။ အကြောင်းမူကား

ထို့ကြောင့် ကတိုးရုပ်ထင်နေသော်လည်း အပုပ်အသိုးမျှသာဖြစ်သောသင့်သမီးအား သိမ်းပိုက်ဖို့

မဆိုထားဘိ

So, though your daughter is just like beauty icon, I won't marry even

ခြေဖျားနှင့်ပင် မတို့မထိလို

I don't want to touch her with the tip of my toe.

ဟင်

Hm!

ဒါ ငါ့ကိုစော်ကားတဲ့စကားပဲ

That's the insulting word to us.

ငါ့ကို ခြေဖျားနဲ့တောင် မတို့မထိလိုတဲ့

He said he don't want to touch me with his tip of his toe.

အပုပ်အသိုးတဲ့

I'm the rotten one.

အိုပြောရက်လိုက်တာ

How rude he says like that.

ရက်စက်လိုက်တာ

What a cruel word.

တကယ်ဆို ငါ့ကိုမလိုချင်ဘူးဆိုရင်လည်း “မလိုချင်ပါဘူး'လို့ ပြတ်ပြတ်သားသား ငြင်းလိုက်ရုံပေါ့၊ ခုတော့

If he doesn't want, he should say directly and deny it. But...

ငါ့ကိုပြောလိုက်ပုံများ ရစရာတောင်မရှိတော့ဘူး

He scolds me as useless.

ရှက်ရွံ့အားငယ်စိတ် နာကျည်းဒေါသစိတ်တို့နှင့်အတူ “မာဂဏ္ဍီ”သည် ဘုရားရှင်နှင့်

အဝေးဆုံးဆီသို့ ပြေးထွက်လာခဲ့၏။

With the combined suffering of shame, anger and down hearted,

Marghandi ran away from Lord Buddha.

အဟင့်

ဘုရား၏စကားသည် အစွန်းနှစ်ဖက်ရောက်သော စကားဖြစ်၏။

Lord Buddha's word is not mean to both extremes.

‘မာဂဏ္ဍီ”အား တိုက်ခိုက်ထိုးနှက်လိုသောဆန္ဒကြောင့်ပြောဆိုခြင်း မဟုတ်ပေ။

He did not want to attack Marghandi.

ပုဏ္ဏားကြီးနှင့် ပုဏ္ဏေးမကြီးတို့အတွက်ဖြစ်၏။

He intended and refered to brahmin and his wife.

မဟာကရုဏာတော်ရှင် မြတ်ဗုဒ္ဓ၏တရားစကားကြောင့် ပုဏ္ဏားကြီးနှင့် ပုဏ္ဏေးမကြီးတို့လည်း

တစ်ထိုင်တည်းနှင့်ပင် အနာဂါမ်ဖိုလ်စခန်းသို့ တက်လှမ်းနိုင်ခဲ့ကြပေသည်။

On account of words of great benefactor the Lord Buddha the brahmin and

his wife attained anaghami status.

အမျိုးသမီးတစ်ယောက်အဖို့ လှသည်ဖြစ်စေ မလှသည်ဖြစ်စေ သူမ၏အလှကို ထိခိုက်လာပြီဆိုလျှင်

ထိုသူသည် ရန်သူဖြစ်၏။

As for a young woman whether she is beautiful or not, if her beauty

was hit, he becomes her enemy.

မကျေနပ်ဘူး

I don't forgivehim.

လုံးဝ မကျေနပ်ဘူး

I don't forget his insult.

အလှမာန်တက်ခဲ့ဖူးသော “မာဂဏ္ဍီ” အဖို့ အဘယ်ဆိုဖွယ်ရာရှိပါတော့အံ့နည်း။

As for Marghandi who was proud of her beauty.

did not forgive Lord Buddha's insult.

ဒီနေ့ ကြားခဲ့ရတဲ့စကားဟာ ငါ့ဘဝရဲ့ အခါးသီးဆုံး စကားပဲ

The words I heard today are the worst and bitter taste for me.

သူ့ကိုယ်သူ ဘုရားတဲ့၊ အဟက် ဘာဘုရားလဲ၊ ပြောလိုက်တာများ

ကိုယ်ချင်းစာစိတ်ကို မရှိဘူး

He refers himself as Lord Buddha. What sort of Buddha is he? He has no empathy.

ဒီတစ်သက်မပြောနဲ့၊ နှောင်ဆယ်သက်ထိအောင် မကြေနိုင်ဘူး

I don't forget his insult not only this life but up to ten lives.

အတုံ့အလှည့်ဆိုတာ ရှိဦးမှာပါ၊ အခွင့်သာတဲ့တစ်နေ့ကျရင် လက်စားချေပြမယ်

There are challenge and revenge. One day I'll revenge him.

ထိုအချိန်မှစတင်၍ 'မာဂဏ္ဍီ”သည် ဘုရားရှင်အပေါ်၌ကြီးစွာသော ရန်ငြိုးဖွဲ့လေသည်။

From that time Marghandi marked Lord Buddha as her potential enemy.

 

“မာဂဏ္ဍီ”အကြောင်း ကောင်းကောင်းကြီး သိစေရမယ်ဟေ့

You must know Marghandi well.

နေသေးသပ ချုံထဲက ချိုသွေးသပ တမြမြ။

Wait for your turn. I'm ready to revenge.

“မာဂဏ္ဍီ’၏ မိဘနှစ်ပါးလည်း ရဟန်းဘဝသို့ ကူးပြောင်းသွားလေပြီ။

Marghandi's parents became arhats.

ဦးလေးဖြစ်သူကပင် “မာဂဏ္ဍီ”အား ဆက်လက်ပြုစုစောင့်ရှောက်ထားရလေသည်။

Her uncle looked after Marghandi.

အဟင့်

ဘာမှအားမငယ်ပါနဲ့ သမီးရယ်

Don't be downhearted, daughter.

 

သမီးဘဝ မြင့်မားလာအောင် မိဖုရားတစ်ပါးဖြစ်လာအောင် ဦးလေး အစွမ်းကုန်

ကြိုးစားပေးပါ့မယ်

To develop your life and to become a queen, uncle will

try hard for you.

ဦးလေးဖြစ်သူ၏ ကြိုးပမ်းချက်ကြောင့် ‘မာဂဏ္ဍီ' သည် ‘ကောသမ္ဗီ’ပြည့်ရှင် ‘ဥတေန’ ဘုရင်၏

ကြင်ယာတော်မိဖုရားတစ်ပါး ဖြစ်လာခဲ့၏။

Because of the arrangement of uncle, Marghandi became the queen of the king Utena.

ဥတေနသည် “မာဂဏ္ဍီ အား ထက်မြက်သွက်လက်၍ချစ်၏။ ‘သာမာဝတီ'အား ယဉ်ကျေးသိမ်မွေ့၍

ပိုချစ်၏။

The King Utena loved Marghandi because she was active and alert and he loved

Tharmar Wadi because she was courtly grace.

 

“ကောသမ္ဗ”ပြည်တွင် ဃောသက သူဌေး၊ ကုက္ကုဋ သူဌေး၊ ပါဝါရိက သူဌေး ဟူ၍ သူဌေးကြီးသုံးဦးရှိ၏

In Kauthambi there were three rich men. They were Kukutta, Gauthaka and Pawarika.

 

ညီတော်တို့ ကျန်းမာကြရဲ့လား

Brothers are you healthy.

 

ထိုသူဌေးသုံးယောက်သည် စီးပွားဖက် ဘုရားသွား ကျောင်းတက်ဖက်များဖြစ်၍

အလွန်ချစ်ကြည်သော မိတ်ဆွေကောင်းများ ဖြစ်ကြလေသည်။

Those three rich men were entrepreneurs and they loved one another and

good frineds.

ထိုသူဌေးကြီးသုံးယောက်ကို အကြောင်းပြု၍ “ကောသဗ္ဗီ'ပြည်တွင် သာသနာတော်ကြီး ခိုင်မာစွာ

ဖြစ်တည်လာစေရန် အကြောင်းကံ ပေါ်လာခဲ့၏။

Relating with those three rich men there was a cause of flourishing of Buddhism in the country of

Kaathambi

မိတ်ဆွေတို့ 'ဟိမဝန္တာ' တောကြီးထဲမှာ ရသေ့ငါးရာ သီတင်းသုံးနေတယ်ကြားတယ်

သူတို့အတွက် ကျောင်းဆောက်ပြီး လှူကြရင် မကောင်းဘူးလား။

Friends, in the jungle of Himalaya, the five hundred hermits are residing. Will it

be good if we build a monastery for them.

 

ကောင်းတာပေါ့ဗျာ၊ ပြောနေကြာပါတယ်၊ ခုချက်ချင်းပဲ ရသေ့ငါးရာ၏

ခွင့်ပန်ပြီး ခွင့်ပြုတာနဲ့ မြို့ထဲမှာ ဆောက်ကြတာပေါ့။

good and don't waste the time let's ask permission

if we are allow, we will build the monastery in the city.

ရသေ့များထံမှ ခွင့်ပြုချက်ရသည်နှင့်ကျောင်းကြီးတစ်ဆောင်ကို ဆောက်လုပ်

ခဲ့ကြလေသည်။

When they were granted, they built the monastery.

 

ရသေ့ငါးရာတို့သည် ဟိမဝန္တာတောတွင်း၌ ရှစ်လသီတင်းသုံးကြ၏။

The five hundred hermits resided for eight months in the Himalayan region.

 

မိုးတွင်းလေးလ ရောက်သောအခါ ရေလွှမ်းသော ဟိမဝန္တာကိုစွန့်ခွာ၍ သူဌေးကြီးများ လှူဒါန်းအပ်

သော ကျောင်း၌သာ သီတင်းသုံးရန် ထွက်ခွာလာခဲ့ကြပြန်သည်

In the rainy season they fled from flooded area in Himalaya and resided in the

monastery which was donated by rich men.

မိုးလေးလ လွန်ပြီးမှ ဟိမဝန္တာထဲကို ပြန်ဝင်ပြီး သီတင်းသုံးကြတာပေါ့ကွယ်”

When the rainy season was over, they returned back to the Himalayan region and resided there.

ဒီပြဿနာကို ဖြေရှင်းဖို့အတွက် တာဝန်ရှိတယ်

Em! We have a large number of hermits, the food is not enough. As I'm the leader

of the hermits I'm responsible to solve this problem.

ဟောဒီ ညောင်ပင်ကြီးကလည်း ကြီးလိုက်တာ ဒီလိုအပင်မျိုးမှာ ရုက္ခစိုးနတ်မင်းကြီးတွေ ရှိတတ်တယ်

This banyan tree is very big and the guardian spirit of tree used to resid in it.

ဒီလိုအချိန်မျိုးမှာ ရုက္ခစိုးနတ်မင်းကြီးက ငါတို့ကို ဆွမ်းကပ်ရင်သိပ်ကောင်းမှာပဲ

During those critical time, it will be good if the guardian spirit of three offer us the meal.

ခေါင်းဆောင်ရသေ့ကြီး၏ စိတ်ကူးများအကောင်အထည် ပေါ်လာခဲ့လေပြီ

The leader of the hermit's wish was fulfilled.

ရသေ့ငါးရာအတွက် လိုအပ်သော ဆွမ်းကို ရုက္ခစိုးနတ်မင်းကြီးက ဆက်ကပ်၏။

The guardian spirit of the tree offered the meals to the hermits.

ရသေ့များကလည်း အားရဝမ်းသာစွာ ဘုဉ်းပေးကြလေသည်

The hermits ate the meal with relish.

အင်း ဘုဉ်းပေးလို့တော့ ပြီးသွားပြီ၊ ရုက္ခစိုးနတ်မင်းကြီးက ငါတို့ကို ခုထိ ကိုယ်ထင်မပြသေးဘူး

We have eaten the meal, but until this time the guardian spirit of the tree doesn't show his apparition.

ဒီအချိန်မှာ ကိုယ်ထင်ပြခဲ့ရင် သိပ်ကောင်းမှာပဲနော်

ရသေ့ခေါင်းဆောင်၏အလိုဆန္ဒအတိုင်း ရုက္ခစိုးနတ်မင်းကြီးက ကိုယ်ထင်ပြလေပြီ

အသင် ရုက္ခစိုးနတ်မင်းကြီးဟာ ဘယ်လိုကုသိုလ်ကောင်းမှုတွေ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့လို့ ဒီလိုနတ်စည်းစိမ်ကို

ခံစားရတယ်ဆိုတာ ပြောပြပါဦး

The guardian spirit of the tree, please tell us what sort of meritorious deeds you have

done to get angelic luxury?

ကျွန်ုပ်ရဲ့ ကုသိုလ်ကောင်းမှုက အသင်ရသေ့တို့ရဲ့ အကျင့်သီလနဲ့နှိုင်းစာရင် ဆီးရွက်နဲ့မြင့်မိုရ်တောင်ကို

လွန်စွာ သေးငယ်လှပါတယ်

My meritorious deep is too small in comparison with your practice and precepts as contrast as leaf of

plum and mount Meru.

ရှက်လွန်းလို့ ကျွန်ုပ်မပြောပါရစေနဲ့

It's too shameful for me to tell.

ဒါဟာရှက်စရာကိစ္စမဟုတ်ပါဘူး ပြောမှာသာ ပြောပါ

Tell me it isn't worthy to shame.

ကောင်းပါပြီ ဒါဆိုရင် ကျွန်ုပ် ပြောပြပါတော့မယ်

Well, I'll tell you.

ကျွန်ုပ်ဟာ ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ဘဝတုန်းက သာဝတ္ထိပြည် အနာထပိဏ်သူဌေးကြီးရဲ့ အလုပ်သမား

တစ်ယောက် ဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်

In former life I was the worker of the rich man Anahtapain in the country of Sravasti.

သူဌေးကြီးဟာ သူတော်ကောင်းမို့ ဥပုသ်နေ့တိုင်းမှာ အလုပ်သမားအားလုံးကို အလုပ်မလုပ်စေဘဲ

ဥပုသ်စောင့်ခိုင်းတဲ့ စည်းကမ်းရှိပါတယ်

As the rich man was a good man he used to keep precepts on every sabbathday.

He let his worker to keep precepts without doing any work.

သူကိုယ်တိုင်လည်း ဥပုသ်စောင့်ပါတယ်

He kept precepts regularly.

ကျွန်ုပ်ဟာ အလုပ်ဝင်ကာစမို့ သူဌေးကြီးရဲ့ စည်းကမ်းကိုလည်း မသိခဲ့ပါဘူး၊ ဒါကြောင့် ဥပုသ်မစောင့်

မိဘဲ အလုပ်ကိုသာ လုပ်ခဲ့မိပါတယ်

As I'm the newly appointed worker, I did not know the rule and principle of the rich

man. So I continued to work without keeping the precepts.

သူဌေးကြီးက သိပ်ကိုသဘောကောင်းတာပဲ

The rich man is very good.

အကြင်နာတရားပြည့် ဝတယ်

He kinds to others,

အလုပ်သိမ်းလို့ သူဌေးကြီးအိမ် ပြန်ရောက်တော့ မွန်းလွဲပြီးပါပြီ

When the rich man returned back it was afternoon.

Oh!

ဟဲ့ မောင်မင်း ဒီနေ့ ဥပုသ်မစောင့်ဘူးလား

Heh! Man! Don't you keep the precepts?

မှန်လှပါ ကျွန်တော်မျိုး မသိလို့ဒီနေ့ ဥပုသ်မစောင့်မိပါ သူဌေးမင်း

I don't know this principle. So I didn't keep the precepts.

ကဲ ကဲ ဒီတစ်ခါတော့ရှိစေတော့နောက်ဥပုသ်ကျရင် စောင့်ဖြစ်

အောင် စောင့်ပေါ့ကွယ်

Well, let it be this time. You must keep precepts next sabbathday..

စားဖိုဆောင်ထဲမှာ ထမင်းဟင်းတွေရှိတယ်၊ အဆင်ပြေသလိုသာ ခူးခပ်စားသောက်ပေတော့၊

There are rice and curries in the kitchen. Eat them as you like.

သူဌေးမင်းကို ကျွန်တော်မျိုး တစ်ခုလောက်ပေးပါရစေ ဒီအချိန်မှဥပုသ်စောင့်ရင် ဖြစ်နိုင်သေးလား

Rich man, may I ask you a question. Will it be possible to keep the precepts this time?

ဖြစ်နိုင်တာပေါ့ကွယ် ဥပုသ်စောင့်တယ်ဆိုတာ ကုသိုလ်ကောင်၊မှုပြုတယ်ဆိုတာ

အချိန်ကန့်သတ်ထားတာ မရှိပါဘူး

It's possible. There is no time limit in keeping the precepts.

သူဌေးကြီးရဲ့စကားကြောင့် ကျွန်ုပ်ဟာ ထမင်းမစားတော့ဘဲ

ဥပုသ်သီလ ဆောက်တည်ပါတော့တယ်

Because of the word of rich man, I started to keep precepts without eating anything.

 

ဥပုသိမပျက်အောင် အသက်နဲ့လဲပြီး ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်သွားမယ်

Investing my own life.I keep precepts.

အလုပ်ပင်ပန်းခဲ့တဲ့ဒဏ် ထမင်းမစားတဲ့ဒဏ်ကြောင့် အဲဒီညမှာပဲ လေနာရောဂါထပြီး ဥပုသ်စောင့်ပြီး

ကျွန်ုပ် ကွယ်လွန်ခဲ့ရပါတယ်။

Because of the burden of the work and without consuming any food. I died

of stormachache and died.

 

အဲဒီလို နေ့တစ်ဝက်ဥပုသ်စောင့်ခဲ့တဲ့ အကျိုးဆက်ကြောင့် ခုလို နတ်စည်းစိမ်ကို ခံစားရခြင်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Because of the halfday keeping of precepts, I obtain the angelic luxury as a consequences.

ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ရဲ့ “အနာထပိဏ်” သူဌေးကြီးဟာ ဘုရားကို အလွန်ယုံကြည်ကိုးကွယ်သူ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Our rich man Anahtapain was deeply adherent to Lord Buddha.

အလို ဘုရား ဟုတ်လား၊ အသင် ရုက္ခစိုးပြောတဲ့စကားထဲမှာ ဘုရားဆိုတာ ပါလာပြီ၊

Lord Buddha? In your word, the lord Buddha is contained.

ဟုတ်ပါတယ်၊ လောကမှာ အမှန်တရားကို လမ်းညွှန်ပြသမယ့် ဘုရား

စင်စစ် ဧကန်ပွင့်တော်မူခဲ့ပါပြီ၊

Yes, in the world there is Buddha really exist, who can show the

way to right path.

 

အခု ဘုရားရှင်က ဘယ်မှာသီတင်းသုံးနေတာလဲ။

Where is lord Buddha resides now?

သာဝတ္ထိပြည်က “အနာထပိဏ်'သူဌေးကြီး ဆောက်လုပ်လှူဒါန်းအပ်တဲ့ “ဇေတဝန်’ကျောင်းတော်မှာ

သီတင်းသုံးနေပါတယ်

He resides in Zaitawun monastery which was donated by the rich man Anahtapain.

အလို ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အားလုံးအသိနောက်ကျလိုက်တာ

Alas! We are very late to know about it.

ဒီလိုဆိုလျှင်ဖြင့် ဘုရားရှင်ရှိရာ “ဇေတဝန်”ကျောင်းတော်ကိုသွားပြီး ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ဖူးမြော်သင့်တယ်

လမ်းညွှန်ပေးတဲ့ အသင်ရုက္ခစိုးနတ်မင်းကြီးရဲ့ ကျေးဇူးတရားတွေက လွန်စွာကြီးမားလှပါတယ်

So we must go to Zaitawun monastery to pay homage to lord Buddha. Thank

you guardian spirit who shows the way to Load Buddha.

ရသေ့တို့လည်း ရုက္ခစိုးနတ်မင်းကြီးကို နှုတ်ဆက်၍ ထွက်ခွာလာခဲ့ကြ၏။

After greeting the guardian spirit of tree the hermits started to proceed.

လမ်းခရီးမှာ အဆင်ပြေကြပါစေ

May it be goodtrip.

 

ကျုပ်တို့အားလုံး “ကောသမ္ဘီ'ကို မသွားတော့ဘဲ ဘုရားရှင်ရှိရာ ဇေတဝန်ကျောင်းတော်ကိုသာ တိုက်ရိုက်

သွားကြရအောင်

We do not go to the country of Kauthanbi, let's directly go to the un monastery

where the Lord Buddha resides.

သည်းခံကြပါ ရသေ့တို့ “ကောသမ္ဗီသူဌေးသုံးဦးဟာ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကို

ကြည်ညိုလွန်းလို့ အသေအချာ ပင့်ဖိတ်ထားတာ

Wait a moment. The three rich men from Kauthanbi invited us definitely.

 

ဒါကြောင့် သူဌေးကြီးသုံးဦးနဲ့တွေ့ဆုံပြီးမှ “ဇေတဝန်'ကို သွားသင့်ပါတယ်

So after we meet three rich men we will go to Zaitawun.

 

ဤသို့ဖြင့် ကောသမ္ဗီသို့ ရောက်ရှိလာခဲ့ကြ၏။

In this way they arrived at Kauthambi.

ဒကာတော်တို့ လောကမှာ အမှန်တရားကို လမ်းပြပေးမယ့် ဘုရားစင်စစ် ဧကန်ပေါ်ထွန်းတော်မူလာခဲ့ပြီ

Lay devotees there is really appear lord Buddha who can guide the right way.

 

ဒါကြောင့် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ရသေ့ငါးရာလုံး ဘုရားရှင် သီတင်းသုံးရာဇေတဝန်ကိုသာ ခုချက်ချင်း သွားကြပါတော့မယ်

So all of us will go to the Zaitawun monastery where the lord Buddha resides.

သင့်မြတ်လှပါတယ် ဘုရား ရှင်ရသေ့တို့ သွားမယ်ဆိုရင် တပည့်တော်တို့သူဌေးသုံးဦးကိုလည်း အတူ

လိုက်ပါခွင့်ပြုတော်မူပါဘုရား

Very good. If you all go there wewill also like to go along with you. Please allow us.

 

သို့သော် ဘုရားဖူးရန် စိတ်အားထက်သန်နေသော ရသေ့တို့သည် သူဌေးကြီးသုံးဦးအား မစောင့်နိုင်တော့ဘဲ

“သာဝတ္ထိ'ပြည်သို့ ထွက်ခွာလာခဲ့ကြ၏။

But hermits were too eager to pay homage to lord Buddha, they did not wait to the

three rich men and went to Sravasti.

 

အနှောင်အဖွဲ့မရှိသော ရသေ့တို့အတွက် ခရီးထွက်ရန် လွယ်ကူသော်လည်း သူဌေးသုံးဦးမှာကား

မိသားစုအရေးကိစ္စ စီးပွားရေးကိစ္စများနှင့် လုံးလည်လိုက်ကာ ကျန်ခဲ့ရလေသည်။

The hermit who had no attachment. So they could easily set the journey.

The three rich man, as they had business works they were left behind.

 

နောက်တစ်ခါကျမှ ကျုပ်တို့သူဌေးသုံးဦး လှူဖွယ်ဝတ္ထုများနဲ့တကွ

ဘုရားရှင်ကို သွားရောက်ဖူးမြော်ကြတာပေါ့။

Let's go next time with offertories to the Lord Buddha.

 

ဖူးမြော်ရုံသက်သက် ဘယ်ဟုတ်“မလဲ၊ ဘုရားရှင်ကို ကျုပ်တို့ကောသမ္ဘီပြည်ထိ ပင့်ဖိတ်နိုင်အောင်

ကြိုးစားကြတာပေါ့ဗျာ

Not only to pay homage, but also to invite Lord Buddha to Kauthambi.

 

ဇေတဝန်ကျောင်းတော်

Zaitawun monastery

 

ရသေ့ငါးရာတို့လည်း ဘုရားရှင်၏တရားစကားကို နာကြားရသည်နှင့် တစ်ပြိုင်နက် ဧဟိဘိက္ခု ရဟန်းxx

များဖြစ်သွားကြလေသည်။

After the five hundred hermits had listened Lord Buddha's preaching, they all became

Buddhist monks.

တရားတော်က အေးမြလိုက်တာ

Sermon is peaceful.

အနန္တကျေးဇူးရှင် ဘုရားသခင်ပါလား

Buddha the incomparable benefactor.

နောက်ပိုင်းတွင် “ကောသမ္ဘီ”သူဌေး သုံးဦးလည်း လှူဖွယ်ဝတ္ထုများနှင့်တကွ ဘုရားရှင်အား ဖူးမြော်၍

“ကောသမ္ဘီ”ပြည်သို့ ကြွရောက်ပေးပါရန် အသနားခံကာ တောင်းပန်လျှောက်ထားလေသည်။

Later the three Kauthambi which rich men, with the offertories and paid homage

to Lord Buddha and invited him to pay miraculous visit to Kauthambi.

 

ဘုရားရှင်ကလည်း သာသနာအကျိုး မျှော်ကိုး၍ သူဌေးကြီးတို့၏လျှောက်တင်ချက်ကို အလိုက်သင့်ပင်

သည်းခံခွင့်ပြုတော်မူလေသည်။

Lord Buddha, with the anticipation of the propagation of his sermon, he

accepted the invitation.

 

အိုပျော်လိုက်

Oh! I'm very happy

 

ဘုရားရှင် ကြွလာမည်ဆို၍ သူဌေးကြီးသုံးဦးလည်း မိမိတို့တိုင်းပြည်သို့ ဝမ်းသာစွာပြန်လာခဲ့၏။

As the Lord Buddha accepted the invitation, the three rich men gladly returned to their country.

ဟော သူဌေးကြီးတွေ ပြန်လာကြပြီ

Huh! The rich menreturned home.

 

ဘုရားရှင်ကြွလာမည်ဆို၍ ပြည်သူပြည်သားအပေါင်းတို့ကလည်း ပျော်လို့မဆုံး တပြုံးပြုံး ဖြစ်နေကြ၏

All the citizens were very happy because they heard that the Lord

Buddha would pay a miraculous visit to their country.

ဝေး တို့တိုင်းပြည်ကို ဘုရားရှင်ကြွလာတော့မယ်ကွ ပျော်လိုက်တာ

Lord Buddha will visit to us.I'm very happy.

 

ဂုဏ်ယူစရာကောင်းလိုက်တာ

How honourable it is!

 

ဘုရားရှင်ကို ဖူးမြော်ရဖို့ဆိုတာလွယ်တာမှတ်လို့ ငါတို့ ကံကောင်းလေစွ

We are fortunate enough to pay homage to Lord Buddha.

In this way

ကောသမ္ဗီပြည်တွင် ဃောသကသူဌေးကြီးက “ဃောသိတာရုံ' အမည်ရှိသော

ကျောင်းတော်ကြီးကိုလည်းကောင်း

In the country of Kauthambi, the rich man Gauthaka built Gauthitarun monastery.

ကုက္ကဋ သူဌေးက “ကုက္ကုဋာရုံ' အမည်ရှိသော ကျောင်းတော်ကြီးကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ ပါဝါရိက သူဌေးက

“ပါဝါရိကာရုံ” အမည်ရှိသော ကျောင်းတော်ကြီးကိုလည်းကောင်း

The rich man Kukutta built kukuttarun monastery and rich man Pawarika built Pawarikarun monaster.

အပြိုင်အဆိုင် ဆောက်လုပ်၍ ဘုရားရှင်ကြွရောက်လာမည့် အချိန်ကို

တက်ချိုးရေတွက်ကာ စောင့်မျှော်နေကြလေသည်။

They built respectively in time with the coming of Lord Buddha.

မကြာခင်ကြွလာတော့မယ်

Lord Buddha arrvies soon.

 

ကောသမ္ဗီပြည်သို့ ဘုရားရှင် ကြွချီတော်မူလေပြီး

Lord Budcha paid a visit to Kauthambi.

 

ဤခရီးသည် ဘုရားရှင်အတွက် ဒုတိယမြောက်ခရီးဖြစ်၏။

This journey was second time for Lord Buddha.

 

ကြည်ညိုစရာကောင်းလိုက်တာ

How adorable it is!

“ကောသမ္ဘီ”အား ဗုဒ္ဓသာသနာ ထွန်းကားလာစေရန် ကြွရောက်လာသော သာသနာ့ခရီးဟုလည်း

ဆိုနိုင်ပေသည်။

It was a religious tour for Lord Buddha to propagate his sermon in Kauthambi.

 

ကောသမ္မီ”သာသနာ့ခရီးကား သာဝတ္ထိမှာကဲ့သို့ ဖြောင့်ဖြောင့်ဖြူးဖြူး မရှိလှပေ

The religious tour to Kauthambi was not as smooth as in Sravasti.

ဘုရားရှင်သည် အခက်အခဲမျိုးစုံနှင့် ရင်ဆိုင်ကြုံတွေ့ခဲ့ရ၏။

Lord Buddha faced so many difficulties.

 

အပုပ်အသိုးလို့ ပြောတဲ့သူ အခု ငါ့ရဲ့တိုင်းပြည်ထဲကို ရောက်လာပြီ

He who told me as rotten one is now in my country.

ငါ့ကိုခြေဖျားနဲ့တောင် မတို့မထိလိုတဲ့သူ ငါ့ရဲ့ပိုင်နက်ထဲရောက်လာပြီ

He who did not want totouch with his toe now in my country.

ငါ အနှစ်နှစ်အလလ မြိုသိပ်ထားခဲ့ရတဲ့ ငါ့ရဲ့မကျေနပ်မှုတွေကို ဖွင့်ထုတ်ဖို့ အချိန်တန်ပြီ

Now it is time to express my dissatisfaction.

ငါ ခံစားခဲ့ရသလို သင်လည်း တန်ပြန်ခံစားစေရမယ်

He must suffer what I have once suffered.

အရှက်တကွဲ အကျိုးနည်းပြီး ငါ့တိုင်းပြည်ထဲကနေ ထွက်ပြေးရတဲ့အထိ

ငါလုပ်ပြမယ်၊ စောင့်ကြည့် လိုက်ပါ

I'll do him to be ashame of me until he gets out of the country. Wait and see.

နံနက်ခင်းများတွင် “ကောသမ္ဗီ'၏လမ်းမကြီးပေါ် ဣန္ဒြေရရ ကြွချီလာသော ဘုရားရှင်ကို ဖူးမြော်

ရသောအခါ ပြည်သူပြည်သားအပေါင်းတို့လည်း သဒ္ဓါတရား ပိုမိုတိုးပွားလာရလေသည်။

In the morning, on the road in Kauthambi, lord Buddha walked and passed

the crowd who were adored him with benevolence.

ဥတေန ဘုရင်၏အချစ်တော် ‘သာမာဝတီ’ မိဖုရား၌ “ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ” အမည်ရှိသော အထိန်းတော်ကြီး

တစ်ဦးရှိလေသည်။

The queen Tharmar Wadi, who was the favourite of the king Utena, had a chaperon

and her name was Khokezoketra.

 

ဟဲ့ ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ ‘သာမာဝတီအတွက် နေ့စဉ်နေ့တိုင်း ရှစ်အသပြာဖိုး ပန်းတွေဝယ်ပြီးဆက်သစေ

Heh! Khokezoketra, give me the flower at the cost of eight currencies everyday for Tharmar Wadi.

မှန်ပါxxဘုရား၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးမ ဝယ်ပြီးဆက်သပါ့မယ် ဘုရား

Yes Your Majesty, I'll buy flowers and give her

ရှစ်အသပြာဆိုတာ နည်းတာမှတ်လို့ ကြည့်ပါဦး

Eight currencies is big amount of money.

 

ငါ့အတွက်လည်းကျန်အောင် ရှစ်အသပြာဖိုးလုံး မဝယ်ဘူး။ လေးအသပြာဖိုးပဲဝယ်မယ်

I'll buy the flowers about four currencies instead of eight.

ငါဒီလို နေ့တိုင်းယူနေတာ ကြာလှပြီ၊ ဘယ်သူသိတာမှတ်လို့

I take half of that amount and no one knows it.

ပန်းသည်ကြီး “ဒေါ်သုမနအိမ်ကို သွားပြီး ဝယ်ဦးမှ

I'll go to flower-seller Daw Thumana.

ဟယ် ကြည့်ပါဦး၊ ဒေါ်သုမနအိမ်က ခါတိုင်းနဲ့မတူ တစ်မူထူးခြားနေပါလား၊ ဘာဖြစ်လို့များပါလိမ့်

Heh! Look! Daw Thumana's house is something strange. Not as usual.

သူ့အိမ်တစ်ခုလုံးကို ပန်းတွေအပြည့် အလှဆင်ထားတယ်

She decorates her house with flowers.

အလှူပွဲပေးတာလား ဒါမှမဟုတ် ထူးခြားတဲ့ဧည်သည်လာမှာမို့လား

Is it charity or for unusual visitor?

ကွဲကွဲပြားပြား သိရအောင် အိမ်ထဲဝင်ပြီး မေးဦးမှ

အို ဟုတ်လား ဘုရားရှင်ကို အိမ်ထိပင့်ဆောင်ဖို့ဆိုတာ လွယ်တာမှတ်လို့

Oh! Really! It isn't easy to invite Lord Buddha to visit home.

ရှင်ဟာ သိပ်ကို ကံကောင်းတဲ့လူတစ်ယောက်ပဲ မကြာခင်မှာပဲ

ဘုရားရှင်ကို ဖူးမြင်ရတော့မယ်

You are very lucky. Soon you will be able to pay homage to Lord Buddha

ဒါပေါ့ရှင် ရှင်လည်း မပြန်သေးနဲ့ဦး တရားတော်ကို နာကြားပြီးမှပြန် ဘုရားရဲ့ တရားစကားက

တကယ်ကို အေးမြတာ

Yes of course. Don't go back now. Listen to the Lord's sermon. His preaching is very peaceful.

နာရမှာပေါ့ရှင် ဘုရားရှင်ရဲ့တရားတော်ကို နာကြားချင်နေတာ ကြာလှပြီ

“ဒေါ်သုမန”သည် ထိပ်တန်းပန်းကုန်သည်ကြီးဖြစ်၍ မိတ်ဆွေအပေါင်းအသင်း ပေါများသည်။ သူမအိမ်ထဲ၌

ဓမ္မမိတ်ဆွေများ စုဝေးရောက်ရှိခဲ့လေပြီ

Daw Thumana was the top flower-seller. She had so many friend and congregated to

discuss religious offairs.

ဘုရားကို အာရုံပြုပြီးစနစ်တကျ နေရာယူပေးကြပါ

Concentrate on Lord Buddha and line up systematically.

ပန်းသည်ဖြစ်သည့် အတိုင်း သူမ၏တရားပွဲအလှူကို အထူးခြားဆုံးဖြစ်အောင် ပန်းများဖြင့် အစွမ်းကုန်

ပြုပြင်မွမ်းမံထားခြင်း ဖြစ်လေသည်။

As she was the flower-seller, at her religions gathering she used to decorate

with variety of flowers.

အခန်းလေးက ပန်းရနံ့လေးသင်းပျံ့ပြီး စိတ်ကိုကြည်နူးသွားစေတယ်

The room was filled with the fragrance of flowers to freshen the mind.

ဒါက “ဒေါ်သုမန”ရဲ့သဒ္ဓါတရားထက်သန်ပုံကို ဖော်ပြလိုက်တာပဲ

That indicated how Daw Thumana deeply adhere to religion.

ဘုရားရှင်ကြွရောက်လာပြီး တရားစကားကို နာကြားရသောအခါ ပရိသတ်ကြီး၏

နှလုံးစိတ်ဝမ်းလည်း အေးချမ်းသွားရလေသည်

When Lord Buddha arrived and preached his sermon, all the audiences

felt the peace of mind.

ထိုအလှူသည် ပန်းသည် ‘ဒေါ်သုမန’၏အလှူဖြစ်သော်လည်း

That donation was done by Daw Thumana.

ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ၏တရားပွဲဟုဆိုနိုင်ပေသည်။

It would also be the donation Khokezoketra.

အကြောင်းမူကား တရားရှင်၏တရားစကားဆုံးသည်နှင့် တစ်ပြိုင်နက် “ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ'သည် သောတာပန်xxx

အဆင့်သို့ ရောက်ရှိသွားသောကြောင့် ဖြစ်၏။

After she had listen Lord Buddha's preaching, she attained the ariya of first stage.

တရားပွဲပြီးမြောက်သွားသောအခါ “ ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ ၏ စိတ်ဓာတ်များ ပြောင်းလဲသွားလေပြီ။ ခါတိုင်းနှင့်မတူ

ပေါ့ပါးလန်းဆန်းနေသည်ကို တွေ့ရ၏။

When the Lord Buddha's preaching was over, Khokezoketra.'s mind was entirely

changed. Unusually she was freshened.

ဘုရားရှင်ရဲ့ ဂုဏ်ကျေးဇူးဟာ လွန်စွာကြီးမားလှပါတကား

Lord Buddha's dignity is immense.

အရင်နေ့တွေတုန်းက ငါဟာ ဘုရင်မင်းမြတ်ပေးတဲ့ ငွေရှစ်အသပြာထဲက လေးအသပြာကိုယူပြီး

လေးအသပြာဖိုးပဲ ပန်းတွေဝယ်ခဲ့တယ်

Formerly I spent four currencies from eight currencies to buy the flower.

ဒီနေ့ကအစပြုလို့ နောက်ရက်တွေမှာလည်း ရှစ်အသပြာဖိုးလုံးပန်းဝယ်တော့မယ်

From that day, I'll buy all eight currencies for flowers.

ခိုးတဲ့အလုပ်ကို ငါမလုပ်ချင်တော့ဘူး၊ ဘုရားရှင်ရဲ့အဆုံးအမအတိုင်း ငါ နေထိုင်သွားတော့မယ်

I renounce the theft and I live in according to Lord Buddha's teaching.

“ဒေါ်သုမန’ရေ ဒီနေ့တော့ ကျွန်မကို ရှစ်အသပြာဖိုးရောင်းပါ

Daw Thumana, sell me the flowers at the cost of eight currencies today.

ထူးထူးဆန်းဆန်းပါလား၊ ခါတိုင်းထက် နှစ်ဆပိုပြီး ပန်းတွေဝယ်တယ်နော်

How strange it is! You buy twice.

“ကျွန်မကလည်း ခါတိုင်းထက် ပိုပိုသာသာလေးထည့်ပေးလိုက်ပါ့မယ်

I'll also give you more than usual.

“ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ”လည်း ပန်းများကို ပွေ့ပိုက်၍ 'သာမာဝတီ'လေးရှိရာဆီသို့ ထွက်လာခဲ့၏။

Khokezoketra, embracing the flowers and returned to Tharmar Wadi.

သူ ငါ့ကိုမျှော်နေရှာရော့မယ်

She will be waiting for me.

 

အို မိခင် ဒီနေ့ပန်းတွေ အများကြီးပါလား

Oh! Mother! There are a lot of flowers.

“သာမာဝတီ”သည် အထိန်းတော် ‘ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ’အား အခြွေအရံတစ်ယောက်ဟု မသတ်မှတ်ဘဲ

မိခင်ရင်းတစ်ယောက်ဟုသာ သဘောထားလေသည်။

Tharmar Wadi did not treat chaperon Khokezoketra as her retinue but as her mother.

ဒီနေ့ ပန်းဆက်နောက်ကျတယ်နော်

Today, you're late.

ဝယ်သူများလို့ စောင့်နေရတာ ထင်ပါရဲ့

Possibly there will be a lot of buyers.

အမှန်တော့ ပန်းသည် ‘ဒေါ်သုမန’ ရဲ့အိမ်မှာ တရားပွဲရှိတာမို့ နောက်ကျသွားတာပါ

In reality, the flower-seller Daw Thumana convened a ' religious preaching. So I'm late today.

“ကောသမ္ဗ”ကို ဘုရားရှင်ကြွရောက်လာပြီဆိုတဲ့သတင်းကိုကြားတာတော့ ကြာပါပြီ

ဒါပေမဲ့ ခုမှပဲ ဘုရားရှင်ကို ဖူးတွေ့ရတော့တယ်

I've heard that Lord Buddha would pay a miraculous visit to Kauthambi for

a long time. But I, see Lord Buddha rightly this time.

အဆင်းတော်ရော အသံတော်ရော အလွန်တရာ ထူးခြားတာမို့ကြည်ညိုစရာ ကောင်းလှပါတယ်

Lord Buddha's figure and voice are different and very adorable.

ဒီထက်ပိုပြီး ထူးခြားတာကတော့ ဘုရားရှင်ရဲ့ တရားတော်ပါပဲ

More effectiveness is Lord Buddha's sermon.

တရားစကားကို နာကြားလိုက်ရတာနဲ့ တစ်ပြိုင်နက် မကောင်းတဲ့စိတ်အညစ်အကြေးတွေ

အားလုံး ကွယ်ပျောက်သွားခဲ့ရပါတယ်

As soon as I heard Lord Buddha's sermon, the misdeed in mind disappeared.

ဒီနေ့ပန်းတွေများရတဲ့ အကြောင်းရင်းကို ကျွန်တော်မျိုးမ ဝန်ခံလျှောက်တင်ပါ့မယ်

I'll admit you how the flowers are more than before.

ဘုရင်မင်းမြတ် ပေးသနားတဲ့ ပန်းဖိုးရှစ်အသပြာထဲမှ လေးအသပြာကို ကျွန်တော်မျိုးမက နေ့စဉ်

ခိုးယူခဲ့ပါတယ်

The king grants me to buy flowers at the cost of eight currencies.

But half of that amount is stolen by myself.

ဒီကနေ့ ဘုရားရှင်ရဲ့ တရားတော်ကို နာကြားခွင့်ရတာမို့ ခိုးချင်တဲ့စိတ်တွေ

ကွယ်ပျောက်သွားပြီး ရှစ်အသပြာဖိုး ဝယ်ခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပါတယ်ဘုရား

After I've listened Lord Buddha's sermon, my desire to

steal is vanished. So I buy eight currencies of flowers.

ကျွန်တော်မျိုးမရဲ့အပြစ်တွေကို ခွင့်လွှတ်ပေးတော်မူပါ

Please pardon my fault.

ခွင့်လွှတ်ပြီးသားပါ မိခင်

I forgive you all the time.

ဘုရားရှင်ရဲ့တရားစကားဟာ အစွမ်းထက်တယ်ဆိုတာ ယုံမှားသံသယဖြစ်စရာ မလိုတော့ပါ

The words of Lord Buddha is without any scepticism in effectiveness.

မိခင်ကို လှမ်းမြင်လိုက်ကတည်းကဣန္ဒြေရနေတာကို ကြည့်ခြင်းအားဖြင့်

အတတ်သိနိုင်ပါတယ်

Since I see you I notice that your behaviour is peace and calm.

မိခင် နာကြားခဲ့ရတဲ့ တရားတော်ကို ကျွန်မနဲ့အတူ အခြွေအရံငါးရာစလုံး နာကြားခွင့်ရချင်ပါတယ်

ပြန်လည်ဟောကြားပေးဖို့ ဖြစ်နိုင်ပါ့မလား

I and five hundred of my retinues want to hear what Lord Buddha has preached.

Can you retold about it.

 

ပြန်လည်ဟောကြားပေးဖို့က ဖြစ်နိုင်ပါတယ် သခင်မ၊ဒါပေမဲ့ နာကြားဖို့က ခက်နေပါတယ်

It's easy to relay the preaching of Lord Buddha, but there is a problem in listening.

ဘာကြောင့်များလဲ မိခင်

Why is that, mother?

ဘုရားရှင်ရဲ့ တရားတော်ဆိုတာ လောကီနယ်ပယ်မှ လွတ်မြောက်ရာဖြစ်လို့ အင်မတန်မြင့်မြတ်ပါတယ်

Lord Buddha's sermon leads the way to free from worldly achment and it is very noble indeed.

ဒါကြောင့် တရားဟောပုဂ္ဂိုလ်ဟာ အမြင့်မှာနေရပြီး တရားနာပုဂ္ဂိုလ်က အောက်မှာနေရပါတယ်

So the preacher must be on high place and listeners must be in lower place.

ဒီလောက်ကတော့ ဖြစ်ပါတယ် မိခင်က တရားဟောပုဂ္ဂိုလ်ဖြစ်လို့ အမြင့်မှာနေပါ၊ ကျွန်မတို့က

တရားနာပုဂ္ဂိုလ်ဖြစ်လို့ အောက်မှာနေပါမယ်

It can be possible. As mother is preacher now and sit on the dais and as we

are listeners we take place at the lower level.

“ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ’သည် ချက်ချင်းပင် ရေချိုးသန့်စင်၍ ဣန္ဒြေရစွာဖြင့် အမြင့်မှ တရားဟောလေသည်။

Khokezoketra, quickly took a bath and with solemn manner preached from

the higher level.

ကဲ ရိုရိုသေသေရှိခိုးနာယူကြပေတော့

Well, listen respectfully.

ကျွန်မရဲ့ရုပ်ခန္ဓာကို ရှိခိုးတယ်လို့ သဘောမထားဘဲ တရားတော်ကို ရှိခိုးပူဇော်တယ်လို့

သဘောထားပြီး နာယူကြ။

Don't mind that you're worshipping to me, but envision as worshipping

the Lord Buddha's sermon.

တရားဆုံးသည်နှင့်တစ်ပြိုင်နက် “သာမာဝတီ”နှင့်တကွ အခြွေအရံအားလုံး သောတပန်အဆင့်သို့

ရောက်ရှိသွားကြလေသည်။

After the preaching was concluded, Tharmar Wadi and other retinues attained ariya of first stage.

“ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ’လည်း ရာထူးတက်သွား၏။

Khokezoketra also was promoted.

အကြောင်းမူကား “သာမာဝတီ”သည် ‘ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ’အား အခြွေအရံဘဝမှ ကျွတ်လွတ်စေပြီး

အားလုံးတို့၏ ဆရာမိခင်အဖြစ် သတ်မှတ်လိုက်သောကြောင့် ဖြစ်လေသည်။

Because Tharmar Wadi retracted Khokezoketra from the members of retinue

and praise her as their preaching mother.

ဒီနေ့ကစပြီး မိခင်ဟာ ကျွန်မတို့အားလုံးကို သွန်သင်ဆုံးမပေးပါတော့

From that day, mother can admonish us.

“ကောသမ္ဗီ”အတွင်း ဘုရားရှင်တရားဟောရာ နေရာများကို မိခင်ကိုယ်တိုင် သွားရောက်နာယူပြီး

ကျွန်မတို့အားလုံးကို ပြန်လည်ဟောကြားပေးပါတော့

As any preaching centre, mother personally go there and relay these sermons to all of us.

ကောင်းပြီ ချစ်သမီးတို့၊ မိခင် သိခဲ့သမျှ တရားတော်အားလုံးချစ်သမီးတို့လည်း သိစေရပါ့မယ်

Well, daughters, you can know what I've already known,

ဒီကိစ္စဟာ မိခင်ရဲ့တာဝန်သာဖြစ်တယ်

That's my responsibility.

In this way

“ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ”သည် ဘုရားရှင် တရားဟောရာနေရာများသို့ သွားရောက်နာယူပြီး

Khokezoketra went and listened the preach wherever the Lord

Buddha delivered his sermon.

“သာမာဝတီ”နှင့်တကွ အပေါင်းပါ ငါးရာတို့အား ပြန်လည်ဟောကြားလေသည်။

Then she relayed these sermons to Tharmar Wadi and her five hundred retinues.

 

'ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ'သည် ဘုရားရှင်၏တရားကို တစ်ကြိမ်နာကြားရုံဖြင့်

အသုံးပြန်လည်ဟောကြားနိုင်သော ပါရမီရှင်တစ်ဦးလည်းဖြစ်

သည်။

Khokezoketra was gifted in relaying the sermon which was preached by Lord Buddha exactly and in detail.

“ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ”၏ဥာဏ်ကို ဘုရားရှင်ကပင်ချီးမွမ်းရ၏။

Even Lord Buddha praised Khokezoketra's memory.

 

ချစ်သားရဟန်းတို့ ငါဘုရား၏တပည့်မဖြစ်ကုန်သော တရားဟောတတ်ကုန်သော ဒါယိကာမတို့တွင်

“ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ”သည် အတော်ဆုံးဖြစ်၏။

My disciples there is a woman lay-devotee Khokezoketra is the smartest in

relaying my doctrines.

“ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ”သည် “ဧတဒင်္ဂ’ ဘွဲ့ထူးရ ရှားရှားပါးပါး အမျိုးသမီး ဆယ်ဦးအနက် တစ်ဦးအပါအဝင်ဖြစ်လေသည်။

Khokezoketra was one of the ten lay-devotees who attained the title 'etadek'.

 

အင်း တရားစကားကို တစ်ဆင့်နာကြားရရုံနဲ့ အားမရနိုင်ဘူး

I don't satisfy only listen relayed by other.

 

ဘုရားရှင်ကို ကိုယ်တိုင်ကိုယ်ကျ ဖူးတွေ့ချင်လိုက်တာ

I want to pay homage to Lord Buddha directly.

ဒါပေမဲ့ မင်းမိဖုရားဆိုတာ မလွတ်လပ်ဘူး၊ သာမန်အရပ်သူတွေလို သွားချင်ရာသွားလို့မရဘူး

But being a queen, I can't go freely like an ordinary woman.

 

ဘုရင့်ခွင့်ပြုချက်ရမှာသာသွားလို့ရတယ်၊

I can go there only when I get the permission from the king.

 

ဘုရားရှင်ကိုဖူးမြော်ဖို့အတွက် ဘုရင်ကြီးက ခွင့်ပြုနိုင်ပါ့မလား။

I wonder will the king allow me to pay homage to Lord Buddha.

ဥတေနဘုရင်ဟာ ဘာသာရေးအယူဝါဒမရှိဘူး၊ ဘုရားရှင်နဲ့တကွ ရဟန်းသံဃာတွေ

အပေါ်မှာလည်း သိပ်ပြီးယုံကြည်မှုမရှိဘူး။

The king Utena is non-religious and he has no faith and belief in Lord Buddha and his disciples.

 

သူဟာ တောတွင်းမှာ မွေးဖွားပြီး တိရစ္ဆာန်တွေနဲ့ ကြီးပြင်းခဲ့ရသူမို့ ခန္ဓာကိုယ်ထွားကျိုင်းသန်မာ

သလောက်

He was born in the jungle and grew up ainong animals and has a strong body.

 

အတွေးအမြင်က ရိုးစင်းလွန်း တယ်

his thinking is too simple.

 

သူ့မိခင်မိဖုရားကြီးဟာလည်း အားကိုးရာမဲ့နေချိန်မို့ တောတွင်းရသေ့ကြီးကိုပဲ ဖြားယောင်းပြီး

အဖော်ပြုမှီခိုခဲ့ရတယ်။

His queen mother wholly depended on a hermit who also lived in the jungle

by persuasion.

ဟွန်း

Hoom!

ဒါကြောင့် “ဥတေန’ဟာ ရသေ့ရဟန်းကိုအယုံအကြည်မရှိဘူး

So Utena does not believe herm and monks.

ဘုရားရှင်ကို ဖူးမြော်ခွင့်ရဖို့အတွက် “ဥတေနဘုရင်ထံမှာ ခွင့်တောင်းရင် ခွင့်မပြုဖို့ကများတယ်၊

ဒီတော့ ငါဘာလုပ်ရမလဲ။

I'm sure that if I ask permission from the king Utena to pay homage to Lord

Buddha, I can't get it. If so what must I do?

“ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ”က ဥာဏ်ကြီးရှင်ဆိုတော့ ဒီကိစ္စကို သူနဲ့တိုင်ပင်ရမယ်

As Khokezoketra is a genius, I must consult with her.

ဒီအတွက်တော့ ဘာမှမစိုးရိမ်ပါနဲ့သမီးရယ်၊ ဘုရားရှင်ကို ဖူးမြော်

ခွင့်ရအောင် အမေ စီစဉ်ပေးပါ့မယ်

Don't worry about it, daughter. I'll arrange a plan for you

to pay homage to Lord Buddha.

ဘုရားရှင်ဟာ နံနက်တိုင်း နံနက်တိုင်း ဟောဒီရှေ့ လမ်းမကြီးပေါ်ကနေ ဆွမ်းခံကြွလေ့ရှိတယ်၊

အဆောက်အဦတွေနဲ့ကွယ်နေလို့ မမြင်နိုင်တာပါ။

Lord Buddha used to make alms collecting round every morning on this road.

You can't see it because the buildings. block the view.

ဒါကြောင့် ဟောဒီနံရံကို အပေါက်ငယ်လေးတွေဖောက်ထားမယ်ဆိုရင် ဘုရားရှင်ကြွလာတဲ့အခါ

ဖူးမြော်နိုင်ပါတယ်။

So if you bore the holes on this wall, you can see the coming of Lord Buddha.

အင်း မိခင်ရဲ့ အကြံဉာဏ်တွေက တကယ်ကို ကောင်းမွန်လှပါတယ်၊ ဒါဆို ကျွန်မတို့

အပေါက်ဖောက်ကြတာပေါ့။

Em! Your idea are very good. If so, let's bore the hole.

‘သာမာဝတီ”သည် ဘုရင်ခွင့်ပြုချက်ကိုမရယူဘဲ အပေါက်ဖောက်လိုက်ခြင်းဖြစ်၏။

Tharmar Wadi bored the hole without the permission of the king .

အပေါက်လေးတွေတော့ ဖြစ်လာပြီ

The small holes have been bored.

လမ်းမကြီးဘက်ကို လှမ်းမြင်နေရပြီ

Now I can see the road.

ထိုသတင်းကို “မာဂဏ္ဍီ’ က ကြားသိသွား၏။

Marghandi heard that news.

သခင်မလေး “သာမာဝတီ”တို့အဖွဲ့ဟာ ဘုရင့်အမိန့်မရဘဲ နံရံကို

အပေါက်လေးတွေ ဖောက်လုပ်ထားကြပါတယ် ဘုရား

Queen, Tharmar Wadi and her retinues bore the small

holes on the wall without the permission of the king.

ဟင် ဟုတ်လားထူးထူးဆန်းဆန်းပါပဲ ဘာဖြစ်လို့များပါလိမ့်

Hm! Really? Strange! For what cause?

 

ငါ့ရဲ့ အခြွေအရံတွေပြောတိုင်း ယုံလို့တော့မဖြစ်သေးဘူး။ သေချာသွားအောင် ငါကိုယ်တိုင် လိုက်ကြည့်ဦးမှ

I don't have to believe only my retinue's word. To be sure I'll go and look by myself.

“မာဂဏ္ဍီ’လည်း သာမာဝတီ ၏အဆောင်သို့ဝင်၍ ကိုယ်တိုင်စစ်ဆေးလေသည်။

Marghandi entered into Tharmar Wadi's room and checked by herself.

 

သိကြသေးတာပေါ့

You must know.

“မာဂဏ္ဍီ’ပါလား၊ မလာစဖူး အလာထူးလို့ အထဲကိုကြွပါရှင်

Marghandi. It's strange to visit me. Come on in.

 

အင်း ခြေညောင်းလက်ဆန့် လမ်းလျှောက်ထွက်ရင်း ဒီကိုရောက်လာတာပါ၊

ဘာရယ်လို့တော့ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။

Em! Merely to take a walk. Nothing special.

အင်း ဟုတ်တယ်၊ သူတို့နံရံမှာအပေါက်တွေဖောက်ထားကြပါလား

Em! They really bore the holes on the wall.

ဟဲ့ “သာမာဝတီ’ ဟောဒီအပေါက်တွေက ဘာလုပ်ဖို့ဖောက်ထားတာလဲ

Heh! Tharmar Wadi, why do you bore these holes.

ဪ အဲဒါလား၊ နံနက်တိုင်း ဆွမ်းခံကြွလာတဲ့ ဘုရားရှင်ကိုဖူးမြော်နိုင်အောင်လို့ အပေါက်ဖောက်ထားတာပါ

I bore the hole to look at Lord Buddha when he makes alms collecting round.

ဟင် ဘုရားရှင်ဆိုပါလား

Hm! He is Lord Buddha.

ဘုရားရှင်ဟာ ငါ့ရဲ့ရန်သူပဲ၊ ဘုရားရှင်ကို ကိုးကွယ်သူဟာလည်း ငါ့ရဲ့ ရန်သူပဲ

Lord Buddha is my enemy. A person who adore Lord Buddha is also my enemy.

ဘုရားရှင်ကို တိုက်ခိုက်ဖို့အခွင့်အရေးစောင့်နေတာ ကြာလှပြီ

I'm waiting for the chance to attack Lord Buddha for a long time.

အရင်တုန်းက ငါဟာ ရဟန်းသံဃာတွေအပေါ် အထင်မကြီးခဲ့ပေမယ့် ဘုရားရှင်အပေါ်မှာတော့

အထင်ကြီး လေစားမိတာ အမှန်။

Formerly, though I never overstimate the monks, I adore and revere to Lord Buddha.

‘သာမာဝတီ’လည်း ဘုရားရှင်ကို ဖူးမြော်ချင်မှာပဲလေ၊ 'မာဂဏ္ဍီ' က 'သာမလဝတီ' အပေါ်

မနာလိုလို့ ဒီလိုပြောရတာပဲ ဖြစ်ရမယ်

So Tharmar Wadi would like to pay homage to Lord Buddha. Marghandi

is jealous of Tharmar Wadi and she tell mischief to me.

 

ဟောဒီအပေါက်သေးသေးလေးထဲကနေ ဘုရားရှင်ကို ဖူးမြော်ရတာဟာ သိပ်ပြီးမလွတ်လပ်လှဘူး။

Paying homage to Lord Buddha from these small holes are not enough.

ဘုရားရှင်အား ရှိသေစွာရှိခိုးပူဇော်ပါ၏။

I worship the Lord Buddha too.

 

ထိုအကြောင်းများကို “မာဂဏ္ဍီ”သိသွားသောအခါ ဆတ်ဆတ်ခါ နာလေသည်။

When Marghandi knew about it she suffere more pain.

The disciple Ananda worried for Lord Buddha.

အရှင်ဘုရား ကောသမ္ဘီ လူမိုက်တို့ဟာ အလွန်ပဲ ရိုင်းပျလှပါတယ်

My Lord, the foolish menin Kauthambi are very rude.

ဒါကြောင့် တပည့်တော်တို့ အခြားမြို့ရွာများသို့ သွားကြပါစို့ဘုရား၊

So let's move to other towns and villages.

ချစ်သား အာနန္ဒာ အခြားနေရာက ဆဲပြန်သော် အဘယ်သို့ သွားမည်နည်း။

My disciple Ananda, when we are vituperated in other places, where will we go?

နောက်ထပ်တစ်နေရာသို့ သွားပါမည်ဘုရား။

We move the next place, my lord.

နောက်ထပ်နေရာက ဆဲပြန်ရဲသော် အဘယ်သို့သွားမည်နည်း။

Where will we go nextwhen we are vituperated.

နောက်တစ်နေရာသို့ သွား ကြပါမည်ဘုရား

We must move to another place.

မိမိလိုအပ်ချက်သို့သာ ဦးတည်ရသကဲ့သို့

When the bull elephant enters into the battlefield, he bears the arrows shot fromevery direction and bravely march to its target.

သတ္တဝါတို့ကို ကယ်ချွတ်သာသနာပြုရန် ကြွရောက်လာသောငါဘုရားသည်လည်းဆဲဆိုမှုတည်းဟူသောမြားချက်ကို

သည်းခံလျစ်လျူရှုရပေမည်။

I've decided to save and lead the way to all the creatures, I can ignore the arrows of vituperation.

အကြီးအကဲတို့မည်သည် ကျရောက်လာသော ပြဿနာကို ထိုနေရာမှာပင် ပြေငြိမ်းအောင် သည်းခံ

ဖြေရှင်းရပေမည်။

Leader must solve the incoming problem on the spot up to be settled.

ရှောင်လွဲ၍မနေနှင့် ရှောင်လွဲခြင်းဖြင့် ပြဿနာလည်း မပြေငြိမ်း

ဘုရားရှင်၏စကားသည် မှန်၏၊ ‘ကောသမ္ဗီ’ လူမိုက်တို့သည် ခုနစ်ရက်ထက်ပို၍ မဆဲနိုင်ကြတော့

အလိုလို ရပ်တန့်သွားကြ၏။

Lord Buddha's work is right. The foolish men from Kauthambi could not vituperate

more than a week.

ဩော် တကယ်ကို သည်းခံနိုင်တဲ့ ဘုရားရှင်ပါကလား

Oh! Really tolerable Lord Buddha,

မေတ္တာစွမ်းအားကြီးမားလေစွ

His benevolence is enormous

“မာဂဏ္ဍီ”အဖို့ ဘုရားရှင်သည် အဝေးရန်သူဖြစ်၍

As for Marghandi, Lord Buddha was distant enemy.

‘သာမာဝတီ’သည် အနီးရန်သူ ဖြစ်လာသည်။

Tharmar Wadi is close enemy.

 

ငါ ကြံစည်သမျှအရာအားလုံး ဘာတစ်မှ မအောင်မြင်ပါလား။

All the plans I've achieve faces the failure.

Outwardly she seems to be the religious person, but her

inner mind is... I don't want to say more.

 

မပြောမပြီးဆိုတော့လည်း ပြောပါဦးမယ် အရှင်မင်းကြီး လူတိုင်းကို မယုံပါနဲ့ သာမာဝတီ'ကို

မှန်ပါတယ် ဗုဒ္ဓဘုရားရှင်ဟာ အနန္တ မေတ္တာရှင်ဖြစ်ပါတယ်

Yes, Lord Buddha has the unlimited benevolence to other.

 

“သာမာဝတီ” သင့်ကို ဆုတစ်ခုပေးလိုပါတယ်၊ သင် အလိုရှိရာဆုကို တောင်းပါ။

Tharmar Wadi, I would like to give you a wish. You can ask what you want most.

အရှင်မင်းကြီး ကျွန်တော်မျိုးမ အလိုရှိတဲ့ဆိုဟာ အခြားမဟုတ်ပါ

ကျွန်ုပ်ကိုယ်တိုင်ပါ ဘုရားရှင်ကို ကိုးကွယ်ပါတော့မယ်။

 

Very good, not only you, but I also will revere

the Lord buddha by myself.

 

ဘုရားရှင်ရဲ့ သီလ သမာဓိ ပညာကို `အကြွင်းမဲ့ ယုံကြည်လက်ခံ ပါပြီ။

I believe and accept in Lord Buddha's fame absolutely.

 

ထိုအချိန်မှစတင်၍ ဥတေနဘုရင်သည် ဘုရားရှင်နှင့်တကွ ရဟန်းသံဃာတော်များကို နန်းတော်တွင်း

သို့ ပင့်ဖိတ်၍ ဆွမ်း သင်္ကန်းပရိက္ခရာများကို အဆက်မပြတ် လှူလေသည်။

Since then the king Utena invited Lord Buddha and his disciples to the palace and donated

meals, robes and other properties for the monks.

 

အရှင်ဘုရား တပည့်တော်ရဲ့ နန်းတွင်းသို့ နေ့စဉ်ကြွရောက်လာပြီး တပည့်တော်ရဲ့ဆွမ်းအလှူကို

ခံယူသီတင်းသုံးတော်မူပါဘုရား၊

Your Highness come to my palace everyday and accept my affertories.

 

မြတ်သောမင်းကြီး ဘုရားရှင်တို့မည်သည် တစ်နေရာတည်းသို့ အမြဲကြွရောက်ရိုးထုံးစံမရှိ။

Your Highness the king we are not used to come to a donor.

 

သာသနာ့တာဝန်များ များစွာရှိပေသည်။

There are so many devotees.

 

အရှင်ဘုရား မအားလပ်လျှင်လည်း အရှင်ဘုရားကိုယ်စား ရဟန်းသံဃာတော်တစ်ပါးပါးကို

တပည့်တော်၏နန်းတွင်းသို့ နေ့စဉ်စေလွှတ်ပေးတော်မူပါဘုရား၊

Your Highness, if you're busy, please send one of your disciples to my palace to

do alms collecting round.

 

တပည့်တော် တောင်းပန်လျှောက်ထားပါတယ်

The Lord Buddha accepted the king's proposal.

“ကောသမ္ဗီ” ဗုဒ္ဓသာသနာတော်သည် နေရောင်လရောင်ပမာ ထွန်းတောက်လာခဲ့ပြီဖြစ်သည်။

 

The Buddhism was shone as sunlight in Kauthambi

 

ပြည်သူပြည်သား အပေါင်းတို့လည်း ဗုဒ္ဓတရားတော်၏ ကောင်းကျိုးချမ်းသာများကို ရရှိခံစားလာရပြီဖြစ်၏။

All the citizens attained the effectiveness of the Buddha's sermon.

 

ဤသော် သာသနာ့အကျိုးကို မလိုလားသော ပုဂ္ဂိုလ်တစ်ယောက် ရှိနေလေသည်။

All of us have only one to rely. That's the sermon.

အပြစ်ရှိသူအားလုံးကို စီရင်လို့တော့ ပြီးသွားပြီ။

အဓိက တရားခံဖြစ်တဲ့ မိန်းမယုတ်မာဂဏ္ဍီကိုပဲ စီရင်ဖို့ကျန်တော့တယ်၊

The main culprit Marghandi remain to be perished.

 

“ဥတေန”ဘုရင်လည်း “မာဂဏ္ဍီ'အား အစာငတ် ရေငတ်ထားသည်။

The king Utena cut off food and drink to Marghandi.

ဘယ်လိုလဲ မာဂဏ္ဍီ

How do you suffer Marghandi?

မောင်ကြီးရယ် ကျွန်မကို အစာရေစာတိုက်ကျွေးပါတော့နော်

Please feed me and give me a drink.

ကျွန်မ အရမ်းကိုဗိုက်ဆာနေလို့ပါ

I'm thirsy and hungry.

ကျွေးမှာပါ၊ ဒါပေမဲ့ ဒီဘဝတော့မဟုတ်ဘူး၊ နောက်ဘဝကျမှ

I'll feed you, but not in this life. That's next life.

 

“မာဂဏ္ဍီ'သည် ဆာလောင်သည့်ဒဏ် ပိုးမွှားခြင်ယင်တို့

နှိပ်စက်သည့်ဒဏ်ကို ရက်အတန်ကြာ ခံစားရ၏။

Marghandi suffered hunger and biting of

insects for several days.

 

“မာဂဏ္ဍီ’ ဗိုက်ဆာ၍ အစာတောင်းသောအခါ ဥတေန’ဘုရင်က“မာဂဏ္ဍီ' ၏

အသားများကို ဓားဖြင့်လှီး၍ ဖုတ်ကင်ပြီး သူမအား ပြန်စားစေသည်။

When Marghandi was hungry and asked for food the king Utena ordered his

men to cut the flesh of Marghandi and roasted it and fed him.

ရေတောင်းသောအခါ သူမ၏သွေးကိုထိုးဖောက်၍ တိုက်စေသည်။

When she asked for water he gave her own blood to drink.

ဤနည်းဖြင့်ပင် မာဂဏ္ဍီတစ်ယောက်ကွယ်လွန်ခဲ့လေပြီ။

In this way Marghandi had been perished.

တစ်ချိန်က အလှမာန်တက်ခဲ့ဖူးသော အပျိုစင်တစ်ယောက် ယခုသူမ၏အလှများ

ပျက်သုဉ်းသွားပြီး မချိမဆံ့ သေဆုံးသွားပုံမှာ သတိသံဝေဂရစရာပင် ဖြစ်လေသည်။

 

Once she was proud of her beauty. Now her beauty diminished and died with

cruel act. What a repentant event it was.

သာမာဝတီ ဥဇ္ဈတ္တရာနှင့်အဖော်ငါးရာတို့ ကွယ်လွန်သွားပြီဟု ကြားသိရသောအခါ “ဃောသိတာရုံ”

ကျောင်းတော်ကြီးအတွင်း၌ သီတင်းသုံးနေကြသော ရဟန်းသံဃာများအဖို့ သနားကရုဏာဖြစ်ကြရလေသည်

When the monks who were residing in Gauthitarum monastery, heard about

the misery of Tharmar Wadi, Khokezoketra and other retinues they felt sorry for

 

ကျွတ် ကျွတ် ကျွတ် Tut! Tut!

ဘယ်တတ်နိုင်ပါ့မလဲ

No one can save them

 

ဖြစ်မှဖြစ်ရလေ

What a misfortune.

 

သံဃာ့အစည်းအဝေး၌ ဘုရားရှင်က ထိုအကြောင်းနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ မိန့်ကြားတော်မူလေသည်။

In the ordination hall Lord Buddha told about it.

 

ချစ်သားရဟန်းတို့

My disciples.

 

သာမာဝတီတို့သည် အချည်းနှီး သေဆုံးခြင်းမဟုတ်

Death of Tharmar Wadi is with a cause.

 

တရားနှင့်အတူ ကွယ်လွန်ခြင်းဖြစ်၍ မြင့်မြတ်၏။

She died with the sermon. So her death is a noble one.

 

ခုဇ္ဇုတ္တရာ သာမာဝတီနှင့်တကွ အပေါင်းပါတို့သည် သောတပန်အစ

အနာဂါမ်အဆုံး သက်ဝင်ပြီးသော အရိယာပုဂ္ဂိုလ်များ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

Tharmar Wadi. Khokezoketra and other retinue attained arıyahoods.

 

အကြင်သူသည် တရားမရှိဘဲအသက်တစ်ရာနေရသော်လည်း အကျိုးမရှိ

A person, though he lives up to hundred years without the sermon.

he has no effectivenss.

 

အကြင်သူသည် တရားဖြင့် တစ်ရက်တစ်မနက်သာ နေရသော်လည်း အကျိုးရှိ၏။

A person who live only a day with sermon, he is effective.

 

ချစ်သားရဟန်တို့ ဝဋ်ရှိလျှင် ခံကြရမည်၊ လူသားတိုင်း ဝဋ်ကြွေးနှင့်မကင်း

My disciples everybody must face retribution. One has to reap the

consequences of his misdeed.

 

‘သာမာဝတီ”တို့လည်း ရှေးဘဝ ဝဋ်ကြွေးကြောင့် ယခုကဲ့သို့ တန်ပြန်ခံစားရခြင်းဖြစ်၏။

Tharmar Wadi and others reap the consequences of their misdeed.

 

ထိုအခါမှ

At that time.

 

ဘုရားရှင်က သာမာဝတီ၏အတိတ်ဇာတ်ကို ဟောတော်မူ၏။

Lord Buddha retold about the past eventof Tharmar Wadi.

တစ်ခါက

Once upon a time.

“သာမာဝတီ'နှင့် အပေါင်းပါ ငါးရာတို့သည် ဗာရာဏသီဘုရင်၏ နန်းတွင်းသူမောင်းမများဖြစ်ကြ၏။

Tharmar Wadi and her five hundred of retinues were courtiers in the

palace of the king of Varanasi.

ဗာရာဏသီဘုရင်သည် ပစ္စေကဗုဒ္ဓါရှစ်ပါးကို ကိုးကွယ်ဆည်းကပ်သည်။

The king of Varanasi revered the eight lesser-Buddhas.

အရှင်ဘုရားတို့ တပည့်တော်ရဲ့ ကျောင်းမှာ အေးချမ်းစွာသီတင်းသုံးတော်မူပါဘုရား

Your Highness, reside in my monastery.

ဆွမ်းကွမ်းဝေယျာတစ္စကိစ္စများကို တပည့်တော်ဆောင်ရွက်ပါမယ် ဘုရား

I'll serve all you need such as meal and other monastic items

ခုနစ်ပါးသည် ဂန္ဓမာဒန တောင်သို့ ပြန်ကြွသွားသောအခါ

When seven lesser. Buddhas returned back to Ghandama Dhana.

 

ကျန်တစ်ပါးသည် ဗာရာဏသီမြစ်ဆိပ်အနီး တောချုံပုတ်တစ်ခုအတွင်း၌

The remaining one lesser. Buddha was concentrating in

the bush on the bank of Varanasi river.

 

နိရောဓ သမာပတ်ဝင်စား၍ ရဟန်းတရားဖြင့် နေတော်မူလေသည်။

He concentrated on noble truth of cessation of suffering.

 

သာမာဝတီ”နှင့်အပေါင်းပါ ငါးရာတို့သည် မြစ်ဆိပ်၌ ရေချိုးပြီးသောအခါ ကမ်းပေါ်သို့

ပြန်တက်လာခဲ့ကြ၏။

Tharmar Wadi and her five hundred retinues, after taking a bath, the went up to the bank.

ပြန်တက်မယ် ဟေ့ Let's swim to the bank.

 

အေးလိုက်တာကွယ်၊ နေပူစာလှုံရတာတောင် အားမရနိုင်ဘူး၊ မီးဖိုပြီး မီးလှုံမှဖြစ်တော့မယ်ထင်ပါရဲ့

It's too cold and the sun doesn't warm us enough. Let's build a fire to get warm.

 

ဟုတ်ပါရဲ့

Yes.

 

ရှင်မတို့ ဟိုရှေ့က ချုံပုတ်ကိုမီးမြိုက်ပြီး မီးလှုံကြရင် မကောင်းဘူးလား

Let's burn the bush over there. Is it good?

 

ကောင်းတယ်၊ ကောင်းတယ်၊ အဲဒီလို လုပ်မှ အချမ်းဒဏ်ကပြေပျောက်သွားမှာ

Good, by doing so we can get the warmth.

 

ထိုအတွေးနှင့်အတူ သာမာဝတီတို့လည်း ချူပုတ်ကို မီးမြှိုက်ကာ မီးလျှံကြ၏။xx

With that thought, Tharmar Wadi and her retinues burnt the bush.

 

မီးစာကုန်ခါနီးမှ ချုံပုတ်အတွင်း တရားအားထုတ်နေသော ပစ္စေကဗုဒ္ဓါကို

‘သာမာဝတီ’တို့တွေ့ကြရလေသည်။

When the consumption of fire was over, they saw a lesser-Buddha who was meditating.

ဟယ် ငါတို့မှားပြီ၊ ချုံပုတ်ထဲမှာ ရဟန်းတစ်ပါး တရားအားထုတ်နေပါလား

Heh! We are wrong. There is a monk in the bush.

 

ဟယ်တော့ ဒီရဟန်းက ငါတို့ ဘုရင်ကြီး ကိုးကွယ်နေတဲ့ရဟန်းပါလား

Alas! This monk is revered by our king.

 

ဒုက္ခပါပဲဟယ် တကယ်လို့များ ဒီရဟန်းက ဒီအကြောင်းတွေကို ဘုရင်ကြီးထံမှာ

လျှောက်မယ်ဆိုရင် ငါတို့အားလုံး အသတ်ခံကြရမှာ

What a trouble! If this monk tell about it to the king, we will all be killed.

 

ဟုတ်ပါရဲ့

Yes.

 

မထူးတော့ပါဘူးလေ၊ ဟောဒီရဟန်း ငါတို့ဘုရင်ကြီးထံကို ပြန်ပြီးမလျှောက်တင်နိုင်အောင်

လုပ်လိုက်တာပဲ ကောင်းပါတယ်

It is too late for us. Not to tell to the king about it we will exterminate this monk.

 

‘သာမာဝတီ”နှင့်တကွ အပေါင်းပါငါးရာတို့သည် အနီးအနားမှ အမှိုက်ထင်းများကိုကောက်ယူ၍

ပစ္စေကဗုဒ္ဓါ အနီးတွင်ချကာ မီးမြိုက်လေသည်။

Tharmar Wadi and her retinues gathered the detritus and burnt the lesser-Buddha.

 

အမှိုက်များများထည့်ဟေ့ ဒါမှ စိတ်ချရမှာ

Put more detritus. So it burns enough.

 

သာမာဝတီတို့သည် ပစ္စေကဗုဒ္ဓါ၏တရားအစွမ်းကိုကား မသိကြပေ။

Tharmar Wadi did not know and it was not remarked as crime

 

ပထမအကြိမ် မီးမြိုက်စဉ်က မသိ၍ အပြစ်မရှိသော်လည်း

At first they did not know and it was not remarked as crime.

ဒုတိယအကြိမ်တွင် သိလျက်နှင့်မီးမြိုက်မိသောကြောင့် လွန်စွာအပြစ်ကြီးလေသည်။

In second time they intended to kill the monk. So they had committed the crime.

 

ထိုအကုသိုလ်ကံကြောင့် ‘သာမာဝတီ”နှင့်တကွ အပေါင်းပါငါးရာတို့သည်

With that misdeed, Tharmar Wadi and her retinues were burnt alive.

xxအဆက်ဆက်၌ ငရဲမျိုးစုံအပြစ်မျိုးစုံကျရောက်၍ ဝဋ်လိုက်ခဲ့သည်မှာ ယခုဘဝတိုင်ပင်

Throughout mony lives, they were retributed until this present life.

ဘုရားရှင်သည်ပင်လျှင် အခွင့်အခါ ရတော်မူတိုင်း ဂဇ္ဈကုဋ်တောင်၌လည်းကောင်း

ကျောင်းတော်၌လည်းကောင်း နိရောဓသမာပတ် ဝင်စားတော်မူ၏။

Even the Lord Buddha, whenever he got a chance, he used to meditate on

noble truth of the cessation of suffering in Gheissagotta mountain

or in monastery

 

ဗုဒ္ဓကိစ္စ လွန်စွာများပြားတော်မူလှသော ဘုရားရှင်အဖို့ တရားဟောရာ သာဓုခေါ်ချိန်အကြား၌ပင်

သမာပတ် ဝင်စားတော်မူသည်။

Though Buddhistic case were varies, as for the lord Buddha, he could concentrat

on meditation.

ရှင်သာရိပုတ္တရာ စသော အရိယာရဟန်းတော်များလည်း အခွင့်သင့်သလို ဝင်စားကြရ၏။

Shin Thariputra and other monks who attained ariyahood, could meditate

during those time.

 

ဘုရားရှင်လက်ထပ်၌ပင် ထိုကဲ့သို့ တောတောင်ချုံပုတ်များတွင် သမာပတ်ဝင်စားခိုက်

မတော်မလျော်သောအဖြစ်များနှင့် ကြုံကြိုက်ရသော အရှင်မြတ်များလည်းရှိ၏။

During the time of lord Buddha, the monk who encountered mischief

case in the forest and bushes.

 

ရှင်သာရိပုတ္တရာ၏တပည့် ခုနစ်နှစ်သားလေး ကိုရင်လောင်းသည် ဆံချနေစဉ်အတွင်းမှာပင်

ကမ္မဌာန်းတရားကို စီးဖြန်း၍ ရဟန္တာဖြစ်သွား၏။

The seven years old novice, while he was shaved by Shin Thariputra, he

became arhat by reciting Kammahtana.

 

ထိုရဟန္တာလေး၏အမည်ကား သံကိစ္စ ဖြစ်၏။

The name of this arhat was Shin Thankissa.

 

သံကိစ္စသည် တန်ခိုးရှင်ပညာရှင်ဘက်စုံပြည့် ရဟန္တာတစ်ပါးလည်း

ဖြစ်သည်။

Thankissa was well-verse in education sad power and became a arbat

 

‘သံကိစ္စ”သည် သူ၏မိခင်ဝမ်း၌ သန္ဓေအရင့်အမာရှိစဉ်အခါက သူ့မိခင် ရုတ်တရက်

ကွယ်လွန်ခဲ့၏။

When Thankissa mother was about to give birth,she died instantly.

 

ရွာသူရွာသားများက မိခင်အလောင်းကို သုသာန်သို့ထုတ်၍

မီးသင်္ဂြိုဟ်သောအခါ “သံကိစ္စ”ပါ သင်္ဂြိုဟ်ခဲရရှာလေသည်။

The villagers carried her to the cemetery and burnt her

Thankissa was also cremated.

 

သို့သော် သူမသေခဲ့

But he was survived.

ပြာပုံအလယ်တွင် အသက်ရှင်လျက်ရှိသော သူ့ကိုရွာသားများ အံ့ဩစွာ တွေ့ကြရ၏။

In the midst of ash, the villagers found him alive.

ဟာ ဒီမှာကြည့်

ပါဦး

Huh! Look!

 

ကလေးကမသေသေးဘူးကွ

A baby is alive.

 

ထူးဆန်းလိုက်ဟာ

Very strange

 

သန္ဓေသားဘဝမှာပင် မီးသင်္ဂြိုဟ်ခံရခြင်းမှာ သံကိစ္စ၏ဘဝဟောင်းမှ ဝဋ်ကြွေးကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။

Cremated in the stage of embryo, for Thankissa was reaped by consequences of past misdeed.

 

အီးဟီး ဟီး Ee! Hee!

 

ဗိုက်ဆာတယ်

I'm hungry!

ဗိုက်ဆာတယ်

I'm hungry!

 

သူ၏ဝဋ်ကြွေးသည် ထိုမျှနှင့်မပြီး ဆွေခုနစ်ဆက် မျိုးခုနစ်ဆက် ဆင်းရဲမည်ဟူသော

အဟောထွက်လာခြင်း ဖြစ်လေသည်။

His retribution was not came to an end, he would be in poverly for seven lives.

 

အားကိုးရာမဲ့နေသော “သံကိစ္စ’လေးသည် ရှင်သာရိပုတ္တရာနှင့်

တွေ့ဆုံပြီးမှ သာသနာ့ဘောင်ထဲသို့ ရောက်ရှိလာပြီး

The helpless young Thankissa met with

Shin Thariputre and entered into religious order.

 

ခုနစ်နှစ်သားအရွယ်မှာပင် မြင့်မြတ်သောရဟန္တာအဖြစ်သို့ ရောက်ရှိလေသည်။

At the age of seven he attained arhathood.

 

အကြင်သူသည် မည်မျှပင် ကြီးကျယ်မြင့်မြတ်စေကာမှု ဝဋ်ကြွေးရှိလျှင် ဧကန်

ခံရမည်သာ ဖြစ်လေသည်။

A person, however he is great reap the consequences of the past misdeed.

 

သို့ဖြစ်၍ လူသားတိုင်း လူသားတိုင်း မကောင်းမှုဟူသမျှကို လုံးဝမပြုလုပ်ကြဘဲ

ကောင်းမှုဟူသမျှကို ပြုလုပ်ကြရန်သာ ဖြစ်ပါတော့သည်။

So everybody must refrain from doing misdeed and should do

meritorious deeds.
