တစ်ခါက မုဆိုးတစ်ယောက်သည် အမဲလိုက်ခွေးများကို အိမ်၌ မွေးထား၏။

สุนัขล่าสัตว์เหล่านั้นมีค่า  ควรแก่การเลี้ยงไว้

သူတို့ရှိတော့ ငါ့မုဆိုးလုပ်ငန်းမှာပိုအကျိုးရှိတာပေါ့

As they are here, they are very effective for me.

သူတို့ကြောင့် ငါသက်သာတယ်လေ

Because of those dogs, I'm easy to hunt.

အိမ်ပြန်ရောက်ရင် ဒီကောင်တွေကို ကောင်းကောင်းပြုစုရမယ်

အဲဒီမှာ ခွေးဆိုးကြီးတွေရှိတယ်၊ ကိုက်ခံရလိမ့်မယ်

အင်း ခွေးတွေရဲ့ကျေးဇူးကြောင့်ငါလည်း စီးပွားရေး အဆင်ပြေလာတယ်

ဒီနေ့ ဘယ်လိုဖြစ်ရတာလဲကွာ

How is that today?วันนี้เป็นยังไงวะ?

ဘာကောင်မှ မရဘူး

I don't have any game.

သားကောင်တွေ ဘယ်ပျောက်ကုန်တာလဲ

Where are the games now.

ဟော ရှေ့မှာ ရဟန်းတစ်ပါး သီတင်းသုံးနေပါလား

Huh! There is a monk resides over there.

ฮะ มีพระสถิตอยู่ที่นั่น

ဒီနေ့မှ ရောက်လာတာထင်ပါရဲ့

သတ္တဝါတွေ ကျန်းမာချမ်းသာကြပါစေ

May all the creaturesbe healthy and wealthy.

ဘေးရန်ကင်းရှင်းကြပါစေ

May they be safe from any harm.

ဪ သိပြီ

Oh! I know.

ငါ အမဲမရတာ ဒင်းကြောင့်

Because of this monk, I don't get any prey.

ဒင်းက မေတ္တာပို့နေမှတော့သတ္တဝါတွေ ချမ်းသာကြကုန်တာပေါ့

He prays for them and they will be

သတ္တဝါတွေ ချမ်းသာတာထက် ငါ အမဲမရတာ ဆိုးလှတယ်

It's worse for me to get prey than they are safe.

ဒီနေ့တော့ ရှိပါ စေတော့လေ

ปล่อยให้มันเป็นไปสำหรับวันนี้

နောက်နေ့များတွင်လည်း မုဆိုးအဖို့ အမဲမရပေ။

Next day, the hunter did not get the prey.

သတ္တဝါတွေ ကျန်းမာချမ်းသာကြပါစေ

May all the creatures be healthy and wealthy.

သူက မေတ္တာပို့တော့ သတ္တဝါတွေ ဘေးလွတ်တာပေါ့၊ ငါ့မှာတော့ အမဲမရလို့

စီးပွားပျက်တော့မယ်၊ ဒီရဟန်းကို မြင်တိုင်း စိတ်နာလိုက်တာ

He prays for them and I don't get them. My daily income will

be stopped. I don't feel like looking at that monk.

เขาอธิษฐานเผื่อพวกเขาและฉันไม่เข้าใจ รายได้รายวันของฉันจะ

จะหยุด ฉันไม่อยากมองพระภิกษุนั้น

ဒင်းကို အရှင်မထားဘူး

ဒါကြောင့် ငါလည်း အပြစ်လွတ်အောင် ဒီရဟန်းလည်းသေအောင် ကြံရမယ်

So I must plan to avert from this case and he has also been murdered.

ထိုနေ့မှစတင်၍ မုဆိုးကြီးသည် သူ၏ခွေးများကို အထူးလေ့ကျင့်ပေး၏။

ตั้งแต่นั้นมา นายพรานก็ฝึกสุนัขล่าสัตว์ของเขาทุกวัน

အရင်ဆုံး အဝါရောင်ဝတ်ရုံကိုယူပြီး ရဟန်းနဲ့တူအောင်စာခြောက်ရုပ် လုပ်ရမယ်

First, I had to make a scare-crow with the robe just like a monk.

ประการแรก ข้าพเจ้าต้องทำหมันด้วยจีวรเหมือนพระภิกษุ

ပြီးတော့ ဝတ်ရုံကို သွေးညှီနံ့တွေနဲ့ ပေကျံအောင် လိမ်းကြံရမယ်

Then smear the robe with the smell of blood.

แล้วทาเสื้อคลุมด้วยกลิ่นเลือด

ငါ့ခွေးတွေလည်း အစာငတ်ထားတာ ဒီနေ့နဲ့ဆို သုံးရက်ပြည့်ပြီ

I haven't fed my dogs for three days.

သူတို့လည်း ဗိုက်ဆာနေရောပေါ့

They will be uungry now.

မုဆိုးကြီးက သူ၏ခွေးများကို ကြိုးဖြည်ပေးလိုက်ပြီး အဝါရောင်စာခြောက်ရုပ်ကြီးအား

သဲကြီးမဲကြီး ကိုက်စေသည်။

The hunter untied his hunting dogs and let them to bite the scare-crow

shrouded with yellow cloth.

นายพรานแก้มัดสุนัขล่าสัตว์ของเขาและปล่อยให้พวกมันกัดหุ่นไล่กา

ห่มด้วยผ้าเหลือง

ခွေးများက ကိုက်ခဲသဖြင့် စာခြောက်ရုပ်တစ်ခုလုံး ဘာမျှရစရာ မရှိတော့။

สุนัขกัดหุ่นไล่กาและมันถูกทำลายเป็นชิ้นเล็กชิ้นน้อย

မုဆိုးကြီးက အထူးလေ့ကျင့်ပေးထားသဖြင့် ခွေးဆိုးကြီးများက ဝါဝါမြင်တိုင်း

ကိုက်ချင်နေကြသည်။

As the hunter had practised his hunting dogs, the dogs used to bite

whenever they saw anyone with yellow cloth.

ငါ့ရဲ့လေ့ကျင့်မှုအောင်မြင်သွားပြီ

I train my dogs is successful now.

ငါလည်း တောပစ်မထွက်တာ ကြာလှပေါ့

I haven't been gone out hunting for a long time.

ငါ့ခွေးတွေလည်း အတော်လေး သွေးဆာနေကြပြီ

My dogs become blood-thirsty now.

မုဆိုးသည် ခွေးများကို ခေါ်၍ တောပစ်ထွက်လေပြီ။

The hunter called on his dogs and went out hunting.

ရှင်ရဟန်းလည်း ဆွမ်းခံကိစ္စပြီးပြီဖြစ်၍ တောသို့ ပြန်ကြွလာလေပြီ။

After the monk had made an alms collecting round, he returned to his monastery.

သတ္တဝါတွေ ကျန်းမာပါစေချမ်းသာပါစေ

May all the creatures be healthy and wealthy.

ဟင်း ဟင်း ဟင်း ခုတော့ဒင်းနဲ့ထိပ်တိုက်တွေ့ပြီ

I find this monk directly.ฉันพบพระภิกษุนี้โดยตรง

နောက်ဆိုရင် အဲဒီလို မေတ္တာပို့သံတောင် ရွတ်နိုင်တော့မှာ

မဟုတ်တော့ပါဘူး

Next time he can't pray like this.

(เขาให้สุนัขไปกัดพระ)

Bite him to be dead!

အမိန့်ပေးလိုက်သည်နှင့်တစ်ပြိုင်နက်-ခွေးဆိုးကြီးများက ရှေ့သို့ တစ်ဟုန်ထိုး ပြေးလာကြသည်။

When he ordered his dogs, the hunting dogs rushed towards the prey.

ခုတော့ ဘာတတ်နိုင်သေးလဲရဟန်းယုတ်

ตอนนี้คุณทำอะไรได้บ้าง เป็นพระภิกษุสงฆ์องค์ใด.

ခွေးတို့၏အစွယ်နှင့်ခြစ်မိသဖြင့်ခြေထောက်ပေါက်ပြဲပြီး သင်္ကန်း

တစ်ခုလုံးလည်း သွေးများဖြင့်ပေကြံနေတော့သည်။

Because of the pricky fangs of the dogs, the monk's leg was bleeding and stained the robe.

เนื่องจากเขี้ยวของสุนัขมีหนามแหลม ขาของพระจึงมีเลือดออกและเปื้อนเสื้อคลุม

အင်း ငါလည်း သစ်ပင်ပေါ်တက်မိလို့ အာပတ်သင့်နေ ပြီလား မသိ

Em! Perhaps! I've been doing misdeed by climbing in the tree.

ဘေးတွေ့ရင် လက်တစ်ဖောင်ရှိတဲ့အမြင့်ကို တက်နိုင်တယ်လို့

ဘုရားရှင်က ဟောထားတာပဲလေ

Lord Buddha allowed us to climb up about the height of arm's length.

ဒင်းလည်း သစ်ပင်ပေါ်မှာ အကြာကြီးတော့ မနေနိုင်ပါဘူးလေ

He cannot live in the tree for a long time.

အောက်ကျလာတာနဲ့ ခွေးဝိုင်းဆွဲခံရပြီး သေမယ်သာမှတ် အဟက်

If you slip down, the dogs will tear you apart.

အလဲ့ ဒီမှာလည်းသပိတ် တစ်လုံး

Alas! There is a bowl.

ထောပတ် ထမင်းတွေဟ

The rice is cooked with butter.

ဒီရဟန်း မဆိုးဘူး ဆွမ်းခံပြန်လာတာ ထောပတ်ထမင်းတွေ ရလာခဲ့တယ်

ဝါးတီးဆွဲဦးမှ

I'm going to eat it.

ထိုအခိုက်မှာပင် ပြေလျော့စပြုနေသော ရဟန်း၏အပေါ်ရုံ သင်္ကန်းသည် လေနှင့်အတူ

ပါသွားပြီး မုဆိုး၏ခေါင်းပေါ် အုပ်မိသွား၏။ 

At that time, the monk's over-robe flew away with the wind and covered over the head of the hunter.

အင်..

Em!

ထိုအခါ ခွေးများ၏ပစ်မှတ်ကလည်း ရဟန်းမဟုတ်တော့ ပြောင်းလဲသွားလေပြီ၊ 

At that time the target of the dogs was not the monk. It changed.

မုဆိုး သင်ပေးထားသည့်အတိုင်း အဝါရောင်ဝတ်ရုံရှိရာအရပ်သို့သာ တစ်ဟုန်ထိုး ပြေးလာကြသည်။

As the hunter had trained them, they rushed towards the yellow robe.

ဟဲ့ ..ခွေးတွေ သွားသွား ငါ့ကို ..မကိုက်နဲ့လေ

Heh! Dog! Don't bite me.

ဟဲ့ခွေး ဟဲ့ခွေး

Heh! Dog!

နောက်ဆုံး ယုတ်မာသောမုဆိုးကြီးလည်း ခွေးကိုက်ခံရသဖြင့် သေပွဲဝင်ရရှာလေတော့သတည်း။

At last the knavish hunter was dead bitten by his own dogs.

ခွေးများကလည်း အားရအောင် ကိုက်ခဲပြီးမှ ထိုနေရာမှ ပြန်သွားကြ၏။

The dogs bit him fiercely and after that they went away.

ရဟန်းတော်လည်း သစ်ပင်ပေါ်မှ ဆင်းလာခဲ့ပြီးလျှင် ဘေးလွတ်ရာအရပ်သို့ ပြန်ကြွသွားလေတော့သတည်း။

The monk climbed down from the tree went to the safe place.

သတ္တဝါအပေါင်းဘေးရန်ကင်းရှင်းကြပါစေ

May all the creatures be healthy and wealthy.

ရွှင်လန်းချမ်းမြေ့ပါစေ

โวหาร..

Those hunting dogs are worthy to breed.ဒီကောင်တွေကို မွေးရတာ တန်တယ်၊ မွေးရကျိုးနပ်တယ်
