တစ်ခါက ရွာတစ်ရွာတွင် “ငပု”ဟု အမည်ရသော လူတစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။

သူကား အလွန်ရိုးသားသူ ဖြစ်၏။

He was a very simple man.

This iguana touched to (ပွတ်တိုက်) the anus of Nga Pu and entered into the hole.

သို့သော်

But

ဖွတ်က တွင်းထဲဝင်သွားသည်ကို “ငပု” မမြင်။

Nga Pu did not see the iguana entered into the hole.

စအိုဝကို ပွတ်တိုက်သွားသည်ကိုသာ မြင်သည်။

He saw only it touched to his anus.

ဟောဗျာ...ဖွတ်က...ဘယ်ရောက်သွားတာလဲ

Huh! Where is the iguana?

ခုနတုန်းက ငါကိုယ်တိုင် မြင်လိုက်ရတာပါ

When he had been home, he could not eat and sleep well and moping.

ငါတော့ သေရတော့မယ်ထင်ပါရဲ့လေ

I think I'll be dead.

ထိုအကြောင်း ရွာသားများသိရသောအခါ “ငပု”အတွက် စိတ်မကောင်းဖြစ်ကြရ၏။

When the other villagers knew about it they also felt sorry for him.

တစ်ကိုယ်လုံး ပိန်ချုံးကာ ဝေဒနာပိုဆိုးလာသည်။

Because of this misconception, Nga Pu became lean and weakened.

Help us great physician, ourfriend has been suffering thedisease.

အကြောင်းစုံသိရသောအခါ ဆေးဆရာကြီးက စဉ်းစား၏။

ဦးပေသီးက “ငပု”၏ စအိုဝကို လက်ဖြင့်နှိုက်၍ မွှေနှောက်သည်။

ကဲ လူလေးရေ မင်းရဲ့ဗိုက်ထဲကဖွတ်ကို ဆရာအပြင်ထုတ်လိုက်ပါပြီ

ဝမ်းသာလိုက်တာ ဆရာရယ်၊ ကျွန်တော် ဘာမှမဖြစ်တော့ဘူးဗျ သက်သာသွားပြီ

ဟေ့ မင်းတို့လည်း အယူမသီးကြနဲ့၊ အယူသီးရင် “ငပု’လို ဖြစ်လိမ့်မယ်
